Those were very early days of AIDS as well, and there was a lot of confusion about it, probably on Rock's part as well.

Marc Christian was strictly the top in the relationship with Hudson and was there for one reason only..............he was very well hung. Christian was under the impression that it was impossible to get aids if you were 100% a top. He was never worried about getting aids from Hudson. When Christian had sex with other people during the time he was with Hudson and after, he did not use protection and was a top.

marc hooked Hudson and he used the aids diagnosis as a way to walk away with a lot of money. He did. However eventually towards the end of Christian s life he made a bad investment in a start up chili franchise that he put most of his money into and his only asset left was his house that had a mortg on it. Had he lived he would have eventually ended up broke again (of course). His demise came about as he started chain smoking when he found out Frank Sinatra had died. It appears Sinatra was the secret love of his life...........Im being sarcastic here.......Christian was an awful person with probably sociopathic tendancies and he was one of those gays that never worked a day in his life. Rock Hudson lived a somewhat seedy personal life in some respects and none of this should be too surprising.

The final irony is Christian died without a valid will and there has been ongoing litigation between Christian s sister and Chritians partner for years that has set some legal tort challenges and law. It appears the sister was as much of a scam artist as her brother and somewhat deliberately let a final will in draft condition when Christian went into the hospital unsigned...the will would have given her half.........instead as he died intestate she got it all........and by that I mean a mortgaged house worth about 1.5 million.

Marc Christian was portrayed quite positively in the good TV movie they made about the Rock, he was played very well by an actor who had been a regular in Matlock, I think, I saw him there, I think, and in a couple of other TV series; solid, moral and good-looking guy, I guess quite different from the OG.
