Isn't it the case that if your account is set to private, you can actually delete some of your own followers as opposed to just blocking them? Is that what he's doing, along with unfollowing people? As far as Luke's follows/unfollows - yeah, it could be that he wants Turnip to go private, or is it just that they are having a spat that's lasting for a couple of days and that's what we're viewing? 25 years ago it would have been in private and consisted of hanging up on each other; in 2018 it's public and involves continual following and unfollowing.

Actually, this is a lot more dramatic and interesting than any episode of "The Alienist" that has aired thus far.
