I don't think David Tyler Muir and Gio have much interaction these days. Don't think he's really mentoring Gio anymore. That seemed to end around the time David became the chief anchor and Gio got together with Tommy.

Gio used to do many reports in studio when David was the weekend anchor. It was a running commentary on these DL threads about Gio doing an in studio report, then a DLer spotting Gio and David having dinner near ABC afterward.
