After all these years and seasons I’m still hooked. I surely will watch.

I still haven't watched last season.

It's on Netflix here in Europe, not sure about the US?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | February 6, 2018 9:47 PM |
I can't stand the actress who plays the President and the story seems very clichéd but I'll be watching.

Her face is so pinched.

Looking forward to it!
I can't stand the actress who plays the President
Whenever I see her (and she's been in a few things lately), I think for a second that it's Allison Janney.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 11, 2018 5:44 PM |
I figured it was just a lot of right wing stuff I am not interested in.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 11, 2018 5:45 PM |
I can't wait for the new season! I have the marathon now on TV while I'm doing chores around the house. Lack of good shows on cable! Hope I won't be disappointed!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | February 11, 2018 6:20 PM |
Too bad quinn is dead. Hope there will new eye candy!
by Anonymous | reply 10 | February 11, 2018 6:20 PM |
Episode 1 is already up on Showtime app.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 11, 2018 8:24 PM |
Worth tuning in tonight?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 11, 2018 8:26 PM |
R12 I liked it. The first episode isn’t that exciting, but it lays the groundwork for a good development.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 11, 2018 10:04 PM |
wow! thanks for letting me know, i'm watching it NOW!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 11, 2018 10:25 PM |
Re-watching last season and it was great.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 11, 2018 10:26 PM |
I hate Carrie. She treated Peter like crap last season and got him killed. She got everyone else in trouble too. It would be nice if she got killed
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 11, 2018 10:27 PM |
Are you guys still watching this shit? I stopped watching after the third season, and I don't know how I made it that long.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 11, 2018 10:31 PM |
I still don’t know why they dragged Quinn’s storyline over an extra season. We didn’t learn more about him, and his struggle demeaned him and the character. The original death gave him dignity.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 11, 2018 10:44 PM |
hey, just watched the first episode of the new season, what happened to that guy at the end of the episode? why did the guard put the gloves in a plastic bag? to preserve the them for what? did the guard kill him?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 11, 2018 11:24 PM |
He was poisoned by the guard who inspected his mouth. The tainted gloves contained the evidence of poisoning. The President (or Linus Roache's character) ordered the killing.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 12, 2018 1:58 AM |
Carrie had two nieces, where is the other one? They were little girls last season, now one of them is 16, wtf. That's some creative timeline they have there.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 12, 2018 3:06 AM |
R21 I think the last time Carrie's nieces were on the show was during season 4? The other niece (Ruby) is older so maybe's she's in college somewhere
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 12, 2018 8:08 AM |
New episode tonight!
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 18, 2018 6:26 PM |
Anyone watched?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 19, 2018 2:14 AM |
This is terrible. This show never knows what it should be. It just juggles the characters and plot in hope of something turning up. Should have ended after the season in Germany.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 19, 2018 3:03 AM |
No I like this season. It is weirdly anti Trump. It has the whole horrific WH Trump Mob : A fake Bannon, a fascist though female version of Trump just fucking up our Democracy - though at least she is smart and speaks in complete sentences.
When Carrie kicked the shit out of that skinny punk computer extortionist it felt to me that the Universe had righted itself. She was Mueller and #Resistance all rolled into one. “I am CIA, I have your fingerprints, know who you are, know everything about you and I OWN YOU.” I was happy with it. Really.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 19, 2018 3:48 AM |
Carrie posting super secret spy shit on 4chan was ridiculously stupid. The ensuing strip tease and meet up was incredibly uncomfortable to watch. And the pay off at the end was ever so satisfying. Great episode!
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 19, 2018 4:28 AM |
I can't stand the actress who plays the President Her face is so pinched.
You have to cut her some slack. They had only filmed about 2/3 of last season when Trump won the election. Then they had to do a drastic180 degree turn to make the 𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡 𝑓𝑒𝑚𝑎𝑙𝑒 𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡 into the villain. That's got to be a strain on the actress.
Two pretty good episodes so far. Plus Claire faked me out with her cam scene. I thought for a moment that after teasing for seven years she would finally do some quick nudity but I really should have known better. I got a chuckle at that.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 19, 2018 4:44 AM |
Okay, goils.....just signed up for Showtime for a month in order to watch. Will check in later. Trying to remember if the love interest from Season 6 is really gone. God, I don't even remember what happened to him. OH YES.....now I do: but I don't know if we saw him actually dead.
I'm a hopeless romantic!! I KNOW HE'LL BE OKAY!!
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 19, 2018 4:54 AM |
S07E01 Why doesn't the President wear better clothes?
RE: box of children's coats in Carrie's closet: This will end in tears.
I forgot heroine's name is Carrie. Now I am imagining her as SJP [bold]: (

Dylan Baker looks sickly. I hope he's playing a character with a chronic illness or something. This is why it's better to be a little plump, rather than sinewy, as you age.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 19, 2018 5:58 AM |
The last 15 minutes was AWESOME. Holy shit. That was really, really good. I'm watching it again
by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 19, 2018 6:21 AM |
why is Carrie broke and living with her sister? she had a house and law practice last season and that billionaire wanting her.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | February 19, 2018 6:45 AM |
Season 7 Episode 2 - what an odd and unintentionally hilarious episode. Loved it. "I'm CIA bitch, I own your life now!" Carrie goin' awf! (what else is new?)
by Anonymous | reply 34 | February 19, 2018 6:45 AM |
Characters who want Carrie to stay on her meds are NO friend of the viewer!!
(Yeah, I mean you, Sister Woman.) (Go fuck your whiney-ass husband.)
by Anonymous | reply 35 | February 19, 2018 6:47 AM |
Yeah R33, Carrie is briggety broke, 38,000 in credit card debt. She worked for a non-profit, she didn't have a law practice, she's not a lawyer. She's also been out of the C.I.A. for years now.
She probably went broke paying for that NYC brownstone, gotta live frugal girl.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | February 19, 2018 6:47 AM |
R33 why is Carrie broke and living with her sister? she had a house and law practice last season and that billionaire wanting her.
I don't even remember what happened last season (!!) But Carrie probably wanted her kid to be in the home Frannie was most familiar with (the big white family house), and Carrie can split childcare with her sister, or whatever. Maybe she's fragile and wanted to be close to family.
(Was it ever established this was both sisters' family home? I was just assuming it's where they grew up, and Dead Dad left it to them jointly.) (I imagined that's why the sister was telling the husband to let HER handle it....it's HER house.)

Except Carrie's brother-in-law needs to shut his pie hole.
(That's Patty Duke's son, BTW)

^ know
by Anonymous | reply 47 | February 19, 2018 4:51 PM |
Agreed Patty Dukes son’s character must truly STFU.
IT appears that sister may have no idea how Carrie has earned her living. How could this be?? “You are $38,000 in debt and have several Aliases...”
Well goddamn I thought by now we all know that defending a Democracy against Kleptocracy is YUGELY expensive! I mean everybody but that Heffa Donna Brazille & feeble old Bernie seem to know it. It cost Hillary millions upon millions to refund the Dem party!
So Carrie is her own #Resistance now. But once a CIA agent - always a CIA agent. If her sis & BIL knew who Saul was (did they?) then they should have a pretty good idea that Carrie sacrifices an awful to do right by her country. Esp given the deaths of 3 people that were important part of the plot: Brody, tremendously handsome Quinn and the gorgeous tough smart Astrid.
I love this show. I really hope it has a better ending than all the other greats like Dexter, etc.

Considering Carrie spent (five?) years in Baghdad and another year or so in Pakistan as the Drone Queen plus additional years driving daily to Langley they would have to know she was CIA. Wasn't she even mentioned in Senate speeches criticizing the Pakistan debacle. But they would also know after Pakistan she went into the private sector for that German foundation, and then the New York Muslim-coddling non-profit.
As far as the family is concerned I expect they only see her now as a mentally disturbed civilian.

Anyone still watching?
by Anonymous | reply 54 | February 26, 2018 4:48 AM |
Yes I am! That guy who got her out of jail, he reminds me of another actor but I can't quite put my finger on it
by Anonymous | reply 55 | February 26, 2018 7:27 AM |
I was underwhelmed by this ipisode. I don't like the conservative DJ storyline, either. A little of Saul and him, both, go a long way.
And where is the annoying brother-in-law? I wanted Carrie to go off on him, maybe push him down the stairs, while between meds.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | February 26, 2018 7:40 AM |
Is Quinn still a gimp?
by Anonymous | reply 57 | February 26, 2018 7:47 AM |
No, Quinn died
by Anonymous | reply 58 | February 26, 2018 7:49 AM |
I agree, I'm not digging that standoff either.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | February 26, 2018 7:50 AM |
I don't like the Steve Bannon type guy's storyline. I do like Carrie. I knew that guy from Law and Order (Linus Roache) who plays the President's chief of staff was going to be a bad guy
by Anonymous | reply 60 | February 26, 2018 8:15 AM |
Roach first came to attention playing a gay in PRIEST (1994)
by Anonymous | reply 61 | February 26, 2018 8:37 AM |
Wow he was a beaut! ^^ I am liking Homeland so far. A lot happens and I try not to think too much about it. I am sort of over her "meds" issues and I really miss Quinn and Astrid. I loved Quinn. He is so beautiful just my type. Anyway, I will still watch, it's great TV!!
by Anonymous | reply 62 | February 27, 2018 9:04 PM |
Quinn's storyline had nowhere to go so I don't really miss him all that much. I think this season has some potential but I've read somewhere that the Bannon lookalike "stalemate" situation will drag on for a number of episodes, which doesn't sound encouraging.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | February 27, 2018 9:11 PM |
Agree on the radio DJ. That standoff scene was wasted time beyond Saul's single line the FBI (unnecessarily) wanted blood.
Not happy either they are clearly setting up the other guy as Carrie's new lover. But in fairness I had the same first reaction to Quinn, and he grew on me quite nicely.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | February 27, 2018 9:14 PM |
I loved Quinn from the very first scene. I'm a sucker for the sexy badass type.
Not feeling the CIA guy either. And he's not much of an eye candy. Bleargh.
They were clearly modeling Keane as a Hillary type, and when Trump won they changed gears drastically regarding her character. that's why her storyline makes no fucking sense.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | February 27, 2018 9:22 PM |
When the President told the linus roache character to take care of the General in the first episode, was she telling him to kill him?
by Anonymous | reply 66 | February 27, 2018 10:26 PM |
I still haven't finished last season.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | February 27, 2018 10:33 PM |
R56, yes I Do think she was telling her Chief of Staff to kill him.
Cant wait to see tonight - except I DO NOT want to watch that hideous glob of pus Bannonish pig one more minute.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | March 4, 2018 8:01 PM |
wow. That was tense.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | March 5, 2018 3:07 AM |
Linus Roche was one of the English Kings in Vikings. Sadly I didn't watch last season. Still sexy.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | March 5, 2018 3:34 AM |
A day late, but best episode of the season yet. Definitely kicked the story into high gear!
by Anonymous | reply 71 | March 6, 2018 1:46 AM |
It was a very good touch having the FBI needlessly kill the dog.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | March 6, 2018 1:51 AM |
What is Joe DuBois being accused of, exactly??
by Anonymous | reply 73 | March 6, 2018 2:28 AM |
That was a great episode. Sure it strained credulity but it was great TV!!
by Anonymous | reply 74 | March 6, 2018 12:14 PM |
It's actually a relief to get away from the reality of Trump to watch Homeland and think a President Kean would be 1000 times better.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | March 6, 2018 2:04 PM |
Yes, Keene is just paranoid. She isnt a neo Nazi, white Supremacist, trying to borrow billions from foreign powers and selling US policy in return.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | March 7, 2018 2:49 AM |
a President Kean would be 1000 times better.
Yea, a president who when plotted against by her national security establishment unleashes purges, mass arrests, and closed military tribunals.

The twist that the ho is just fucking the chief of staff and isn't actually working for him bahaha
by Anonymous | reply 78 | March 12, 2018 1:59 AM |
The Ho will be a Russian Agent. She took those punches like the Pro she is. Bottom line she can compromise Keene via Wellington. Not so much like Shitolini who just waits for his direct orders from Putin.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | March 12, 2018 2:14 AM |
that guy who is on her team (who said was fucking her) kinda looks like ethan hawk.

by Anonymous | reply 83 | March 13, 2018 12:17 PM |
I love this show too but it's too short! only like 35 or 40 min!
by Anonymous | reply 84 | March 14, 2018 12:30 AM |
Agreed - there is five minutes of previews for other shows at the start of the hour. And I don't want it to end - almost better to wait and buy the dvd and binge watch it.

by Anonymous | reply 89 | March 19, 2018 2:20 AM |
That was a remarkable episode.
I liked the afterward with the production member saying that they based this “Species Jump” story On actual Russian agent fake news retweeted by Bots. Americans really need to see this how to explain how incredibly grave this Russian cyberwarfar attack on our country is. To think Trump is selling out the security of our Democracy for his remaining in office is stunning.

Claire Danes husband was in the last 2 episodes. He played one of the guys helping Carrie, who broke into that woman's apt and threatened her/ punched her
That guy who plays Dante is married to actress Rebecca Hall

by Anonymous | reply 103 | March 19, 2018 9:31 PM |
So, Dante is up to no good. That was a surprise.
What wasn't a surprise, though, was how quick he was to hook up with her once she flirted a little. Because men fall at her feeet. Always. she's such a precious beauty.
by Anonymous | reply 104 | March 20, 2018 3:26 AM |
Dante is playing her R104 that's why he's so eager to further ensnare her.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | March 20, 2018 10:29 AM |
Shouldn't she take some compromising dick pix now that she's got him compromised?
by Anonymous | reply 106 | March 20, 2018 1:07 PM |
After ep. 6 I had to go back and watch all the Dante scenes in ep. 1-5. Dude deserves an Emmy. His performance is so nuanced once you see it from a different perspective. Dante keeps giving Carrie these hard looks when she turns away from him and was having a fit when she said she was not pursuing the case anymore and kept sparring with her to turn her focus back on the investigation. I had a feeling about him being up to no good when they were in the van and he was overly caring towards her about her medication and then he was calling the op. I couldn't pinpoint it at the time but I picked up that something was way off. Now going back over the scenes you see how it stares you in the face. So so deft. I am truly amazed. Also the way Saul played it was incredible. I love this fucking show!

Carrie should be reinstated at The Agency - she saved the Presidency of the US. With a job she will have legitimacy, high pay, affordable childcare or live in Nanny can be an option. Saul also needs to step up and shut down her sister.
I hope Keene survives the season and turns out to be strong Advocate for US Democracy. If we cant have that. In real life then at least let Us have that in TV Land. Sort of a counterweight to fucking RoseanneBarTrumpBeritbartChan4SarahGilbertLaurieMetcalfJohnGoodmanABC Motherfuckers that are part of the Putin/Trump/Breitbart/WhiteSupremacist attack on US Democracy.
Yeah, I wanna see Carrie, Keene & Saul win. And DEMOCRATS.

Maggie and bil are assholes - Carrie would be fine if she had a CIA approved Nanny. Her valor, extremely brilliant insight and bravery is not to be sneered at in service to our Democracy. Even if it is a television show. Like millions of American women across the country - the real problem is goddamn affordable, safe childcare.
by Anonymous | reply 170 | April 9, 2018 3:44 AM |
Everyone's ragging on Carrie for being an unfit mother....WHILE SHE'S SAVING THEIR COUNTRY. Okay, her child has been in some stressed situations, but you know...sorry, that's life.

by Anonymous | reply 210 | April 16, 2018 4:15 AM |
Just caught up on the two most recent episodes. Yes, it's true that you have to suspend disbelief to enjoy this show, but, seriously? Possibly the most important witness in modern US history, an FBI agent, turned Russian spy is left UNGUARDED so that a Russian spy can just sneak in and off him? AND, that FBI agent turned Russian spy's cell phone was just left in his room so that, if he gained enough strength to get out of bed, he could call whomever he wanted or sent a signal to his operatives? Seriously?
by Anonymous | reply 211 | April 16, 2018 5:15 AM |
Ok, Madame President is a bit thick-headed.
by Anonymous | reply 212 | April 16, 2018 6:07 AM |
They certainly made the right decision when they cast Hargreaves as Carrie's sister. She's completely believable.
However, they've simply got to fire the horrible hairstylist on this show.
by Anonymous | reply 213 | April 16, 2018 7:28 AM |
I know, R211. And is there really any question about Carrie fighting over her child with her sister and the sister’s craven husband? Her best friend and boss is the head of the fucking NSA. One word from him at that courtroom and it’s game over. They had a school secretary and lawyer openly talking about a highly classified and undercover operation that involved the potential takedown of a sitting president in family court? Lol, give me a break. It just wouldn’t happen. The whole Franny thing is such a boring diversion, but I was glad they finally wrapped that bullshit up.
This is still an edge of the seat show. And I loved her look of steely determination at the end. She knows what she is now. It was also nice to have that moment of recognition from her sister in court, despite the narrative backflips they were having to do to stage that.
by Anonymous | reply 214 | April 16, 2018 1:28 PM |
And I liked the moment when she looked down at the dossier on her sister, picked it up and walked out of the court. We were supposed to think she was going to use it as a last gasp attempt to get Franny back but nope. When she looked down at the dossier she thought “I can’t do this to her.”
by Anonymous | reply 215 | April 16, 2018 1:56 PM |
I did kind of wish that she was going to pull the trigger on that R215.
by Anonymous | reply 216 | April 16, 2018 2:04 PM |
But that would have resulted in her sister losing her medical license and she didn’t deserve that, did she?
by Anonymous | reply 217 | April 16, 2018 2:10 PM |
I agree that Saul could have ended the entire episode of Family drama. They needed Saul and good family Moderator. Also could not believe they left Dante so exposed - though claims of lockdown there was no one on the door - should have been at least 2 people continuously.
Lastly Carrie proved herself a mother that absolutely LOVED her daughter, she did the best thing though her bil is a stupid dick. She will always be in her daughters life - additionally Frannie will grow up knowing her Mother is a bonified American HERO many many times over. Her father was ultimately the same. That is good thing. She will have 2 Mommy’s and both will love her and be devoted to her. I’m good with that.
by Anonymous | reply 218 | April 17, 2018 1:25 AM |

Homeland is planning some major changes for its final season, including a return to an overseas setting, a big time jump and ditching its President Trump allegories, showrunner Alex Gansa says.
While Showtime has pointedly not yet confirmed the series will end next year, Gansa says the espionage thriller will not only conclude, but will also perform a narrative reset that gets the Emmy-winning drama back to its foreign intelligence roots with a self-contained storyline.
“[Season 7 arranges] all the pieces on the chessboard to make that a proper finale for the story we’ve been telling,” Gansa told EW. “We get to play this last season in D.C with the intention of taking us overseas for one last chapter. Season 8 will be overseas somewhere. We get to play a story with larger national stakes in season 7 and we’ll go back to a smaller intelligence-based season in 8. We get to pull out all the stops this year and then get to the emotional heart of things in season 8.”
Not only that, but Gansa says the Trump administration allegories will be put to rest as well.
“We’re going to start fresh in season 8 and probably do a fairly big time jump between 7 and 8 and put any Trump parallels behind us,” Gansa says. “We’ll tell a very contained story, hopefully in Israel.”
Most of season 6 was written during the 2016 election and had Homeland setting up a vaguely Hillary Clinton-esque president with the character of Elizabeth Keane (Elizabeth Marvel). Then writers were surprised when Trump was elected instead. Season 7 continued the previous year’s storyline and has been a largely D.C.-set thriller with Keane becoming an authoritarian figure and the show also including an Alex Jones-like conspiracy thriller character (Jake Weber).
Gansa has been hinting for a couple years that season 8 would be the last for Homeland. Star Claire Danes recently said the same. Yet Showtime has refused to confirm the series will end (a representative said the network has not made a decision beyond season 8), suggesting there could be some reluctance to say goodbye to the network’s longest-running successful drama, or that the network is still trying to convince the show’s talent to do a ninth round. Given Homeland‘s flexible subject matter allowing for many different types of government and terrorism thrillers, it’s not impossible to imagine the network could try for some kind of reboot at some point with a new team.
----------------------
I infer that means the shoe-horned Trump story hasn't been burning up the ratings.

This is in addition to the Russians magically being able to get to Simone, spirit her out of the safe house and onto a private jet at a nearby airfield that also wasn't magically being watched.
Then they try to make all that into a plot point, that the conservative Arizona senator things Keene is lying because it was too easy for the Russians to get all those people. Well no shit.

Just a bit of reality check here - there are many many remote airfields across the US. It is entirely within the realm of possibility that an uncontrolled airfield would be accessbible with no more security than a chain link fence.

by Anonymous | reply 245 | April 23, 2018 5:57 AM |
The VP seemed to realize that he was wrong - all his fancy talk about the Constitution, well this gives him an opportunity to be a hero and prove it at long last. Also how does ANYONE on “Carries Team” wind up being such a weenie and contacting her immediately about the Senators rep squeezing him?
That female assist to the Senator just committed treason - and an agent died - death penalty for her. I was stunned that UseFul Idiot just sat there doing nothing. Now he is sooo complicit he has no way out and permitted Treason himself. He reminds me of our own Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell - total Useful Idiots - With one bought off by Russian Oligarchs.

Imagine that such “iron curtains” do exist for intelligence and secure communications, most travelers are free to being what they want into countries.. (Only prohibitions I have encountered are in ME countries that object to booze, porno, anything related to Sex, or thousands of $$ in currency.)
Also dont forget the US Embassy would have recommended this hotel and swept the rooms carefully before bringing the US Dir of National Security and a team in. That would be standard around the world.

Well they have to do another season so Carrie should be recoverable. She really gave it ALL for her country, horrible that they scripted the exchange taking 7mos. Since Carrie exacted the harshest results on Russia they would like to ensure she never gets over on them again. I guess this was it. Looks like Electro shock.
I will not understand Clare Danes remarks that “Carrie ends in a more rested place” or something to that effect. Really???

The Russians tortured her. she's broken. I don't think anyone normal can come back from that mentally, much less a fucked up individual like her.

I bet Yevgeny raped her. I hope in the final season she manages to shove a red hot poker up his butt.

This show goes at lightning speed. All of the scenes never shown - I wish Saul had gone to Carrie's sister and husband to update them on her situation in Russia and the little girl shows up. I think President Keane and David were going to move on 'together' from the look between them at the end. I also think the actor who played David looks like a real life Kennedy.

That is my (imaginary) boyfriend, Linus Roache. He's English.

He first came to attention playing a gay in PREIST (1994)

He's also in my favorite movie ever, THE WINGS OF THE DOVE (1997)

So is she suppose to somehow wind up a station chief again? Most humans would throw in the towel after something so awful - such is the magic of Hollywood.
I am genuinely curious if there was ever an agent that suffering from mental health disorder that served with distinction and bravery. A bookabout the lives of CIA agents would be fascinating. Valerie Plame certainly wrote an amazing book.

The last few episodes saved the season. After they got rid of the radio host story, the show got much better. I loved the last two episodes, that was good TV. Season 1 & 5 are still my fave, though. Does anyone know where the next season is set?

Oh! Carrie goes nuts! Again! How fresh and original!

I love that Carrie offered her pussy for pills.

I’m guessing it will be a time jump of at least two years. Carrie will probably have been treated in a super photogenic, bucolic clinic outside London. Her young daughter finally goes to visit her, accompanied by the aunt. Saul springs her back into action, though, when President Lloyd Bridges becomes the casualty of a terrorist attack, most likely caused by Muslims. The trail leads her amd Saul to Tel Aviv.

I'm a day behind, but what a finale and what a season. This show was so topical and current this year it was scary. I Was genuinely surprised to see Keane resign, but it was a fitting and powerful conclusion for her storyline. The escape from Russia scenes were suspensful and thrilling and that ending with Carrie was beyond devastating. Poor Carrie! Poor Saul! You just know he blames himself. Best season since the 4th. Can't wait for the final season. Do we know when it's set to air?!

I’m thinking not until next April at the earliest. Claire Danes is having her second child in late July so I assume it will start shooting a lot later than usual. Normally it starts shooting in July or August.

Saul’s character is a great man only bested by Carrie’s brilliance. He will see that she recovers, he and the last 2 Presidents both understand she saved the US Democracy. (Sadly only on the TeeVee because cowardly GOP Congress people couldnt give a shit in reality of US politics. What Russian Interference to sow chaos? I don’t believe anything you say about the NRA!!) That is a lot of support to see she gets the best care. Would that was reality for all Americans.

The actor who plays David does indeed look like a Kennedy. I wonder if this is partly why he got the part. He pings, doesn't he? Is he gay? Because I've got an itching to pound his rosebud.

Linus Roache played a gay man in Priest but by all accounts he’s straight. He’s been married to a British actress named Rosalind for many years. No children. They were apparently in some sort of cult in Massachusetts but left it in recent years. His father William Roache has been one of the stars of the UK soap Coronation Street since 1960. He holds the record for playing a character the longest in any medium.

In future, R276, all information regarding Linus Roache will be provided by [italic]me.[/italic] He has been my imaginary boyfriend since the 1990s, and I justly feel I know him better than anyone.
Our imaginary family appreciates your sensitivity during this difficult time.

Okay Datalounge experts, what are season 7's Emmy chances? (Realistically)
I hope that it snags a nom for best drama series after being left out last year. And I'm rooting for Danes to win her 3rd Emmy for the show. She was exceptional this year, the best actress on television!
