If so, what were the circumstances? Frontal nudity or just the ass? Was it an erotic experience for you? Tell us everything!
DLers: Have you ever appeared nude on stage or on screen?

I always wanted to do a nude scene but my directors always insisted I keep my clothes on.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | February 5, 2018 11:44 PM |
Yes in college. They saw my ass. I got a lot of offers. Still makes me laugh when I think about it.

I auditioned for Equus but didn’t get the part. The guy who was cast kept his underwear on.

I was a nude body double in a morgue scene. I was topless and tits out. I was a college student, they paid me $400 and fed me a 3 course meal. It was very unsexy and sort of surreal to have the actor shake hands and say hello when you’re half naked but the crew were very nice and as supportive and protective as aunts and uncles. I was asked back twice more and played more topless corpses including one with a scar that took 4 hours of makeup to apply. I showed my tits to about 12 people over the course of the makeup job.

Mike Doyle says he appeared naked in plays at Juilliard or at least in acting classes and then he appeared naked in that play at the Mitzi Newhouse wearing a cockring I guess the better to see you with my dear.
I'd love to know how this handsome as hell exhibitionist felt about these experiences. Did his mother and relatives come to see this play and say 'That's my boy!'

my 12th grade drama teacher had us put on Oh Calcutta!

i didnt realize so many of my classmates were hung, or that their parents were so hot....
thus began our summer of getting to know you partys in the neighborhood....

I would have loved to have been in a production of Take Me Out, showering onstage with hot young actors playing baseball players.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 6, 2018 3:05 PM |
R12 how was that allowed?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 6, 2018 4:09 PM |
It wasn't,R14. He's joking.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 6, 2018 4:14 PM |
Tom Daley should do Equus.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 6, 2018 5:17 PM |
If I have to sit though one more fucking high school or middle school production of "Oh, Calcutta!" I think I'll tear my eyes out!

If I have to sit through one more fucking high school or middle school production of Take Me Out I'll be what the fuck?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 6, 2018 9:25 PM |
I remember seeing "Take Me Out" on Broadway.
As soon as the showers were turned on, the primly dressed mother sitting in front of me, grabbed her 13 year-old son and dragged him up the aisle, leaving in an angry huff.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 6, 2018 11:30 PM |
I wasn't, but a handsome co-worker at a former job invited us to see the play he was doing. Quite a nice surprise when he came out on stage in a scene with two other actors and all of them were completely nude. I thought it was pretty hot and ended up jacking off thinking about that night when I got home.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 6, 2018 11:48 PM |
R20, what was the play?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 6, 2018 11:50 PM |
Close but it got very weird. I was working at a museum and was followed around by a long term worker who said I should "really be an artist's model." This became a regular thing, he would say "it's not like the modeling you're thinking of, it's different but you would be just right for it." Apparently, he thought he knew the modeling I was thinking of. It became a regular thing.
After a couple of weeks of that, I told him I'd consider it and he said he'd tell "the other members of the class" that I would do it and something about the way he said that freaked me out and I imagined it would all somehow end with a dagger and my being tied to a tree, so I declined. He flipped out on me and said that I was being a prude. The whole thing was very, very strange. He ended up leaving shortly after to go on some "boating expedition" and no one heard from him after that.

A truly daring high school would be doing "Naked Boys Singing."
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 7, 2018 12:40 AM |
R21 I don't remember. It wasn't anything well-known or mentioned here.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 7, 2018 3:30 AM |
R19 The shower scene is in Act 2 of "Take Me Out"; there was already a nude scene in Act 1 with Daniel Sunjata and off-Broadway Dominic Fumusa and then on Broadway David Eigenberg. So if nudity was a problem, she should have dragged the kid out during the first act. Plus there's nudity in act 3 with Sunjata and Fred Weller (big balls!)

Oh come on! There’s got to more DL members who were nude on stage or in a video, at least.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 8, 2018 12:34 AM |
I haven't been, either. However, a former student of mine, who had just graduated high school was cast as Alan Strang in Equus at a local theater. he invited and I went, thinking that I would be uncomfortable with his nudity. However, he was an excellent actor and the 'discomfort" was minimized by the intensity of the scene. But, of course, one couldn't help but notice that he was nicely endowed.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 8, 2018 1:07 PM |
R27, how delightful! One should always see one’s former students nude, especially if they are hung.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 8, 2018 1:34 PM |
[quote]Tom Daley should do Equus.
Well if you cast him based on his talent he can be a pile of horseshit.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 8, 2018 1:38 PM |
yes. No big deal. Basically nude was another costume. I have a very ordinary body. The amount of nudity, depended on where one sat in the theater. Unless you are familiar with the Austrian playwright Peter Handke, you would not know the play.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 8, 2018 1:45 PM |
Dominic Fumusa was very well cast in the role and really came across as totally straight which was crucial to the dynamic.
His replacement was so badly cast and came across as such a queen I was wondering what the hell everyone was thinking.
Anybody know why Fumusa didn't do Broadway?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 8, 2018 2:38 PM |
Hi s replacement was well=known as Steve, Miranda's love interest in "Sex in the City" and had a compact, Marine body. But I always wondered why Fumusa didn't go to Broadway with the show. He was very good.

I have appeared nude onstage and on film. Mixed feelings. Im average looking but sorta endowed. The exhibitionist in me was turned on that all those people would see me naked, live in person under flattering light. I was also kind of ashamed, and really self judging. The fact that I wasnt perfect, I beat myself up for not being rigorous at the gym., challenging the audience to find me hot. If they didnt find me hot, they were right, and also fuckem.I did get mash notes sent which was flattering. My charms are my humanity and sense of humor, My self effacing ways helped it along. On film I have dropped my pants, being sad , and pathetic. Has a long semi-erect close up. The camera put on 10 lbs in the right place. Im in my 50s now, wouldnt be asked, nor would I do it
by Anonymous | reply 33 | February 8, 2018 3:10 PM |
I was frontal in a play -- not erotic in setting or presentation -- maybe for some select audience pervs? But certainly not for me, or 99% of the audience.
