I read that Ari was disgusted that Christina had his ugly features rather than her mother’s. They didn’t have a close relationship. Her psychological issues probably came from all that.

This just randomly occurred to me: what the hell was Maria Callas doing with Aristotle Onassis? (That sounds like a song lyric.) I know virtually nothing about opera, but even I have heard of Maria, so she must have been extremely famous. She can't have been after him for his money. From what I've read about Onassis, he comes across as deeply unlikeable. Why did she have to settle for an arrogant, sleazy man who was 20 years her senior?
