Honestly, I don't think he looks THAT bad. I think he makes some bad grooming and style choices,and could look a lot better, even if not eternally young looking.

5. He still has a good head of hair, but has the 2 recessions of hair at the front hairline

You say he “looked youthful in his 40s.” Not really. He distracted from his aging with hair that covered half his face and a goatee and often he wore glasses and eye makeup if not a full face of makeup. His face also looks fuller in later years and it has no lines or wrinkles, so it appears he has been getting facial fillers or paralysis since his 40s. Given all the smoke and mirrors and modifications, I don’t think it’s quite right to suggest he remained naturally ageless until his 50s. To me his approach has been more like a male Nicole Kidman type approach, except he can hide behind a bushy hairdo and a mustache.

Around 2003/2004 my sister was vacationing in Scotland. She and her friend went to Rosslyn Chapel near Edinburgh, it was a midweek afternoon, nobody else there (so they thought) when her friend spied Johnny Depp. It’s a small building, dark and incredibly ornate with lots of pillars and easy for someone to not be seen if they don’t want to.

He and Winona Ryder seemed made for each other. For a while they were the enviable couple du jour. I remember on ET they did a story about their "engagement" and said that they hadn't set a date, "they just wanted to enjoy being engaged for while." Actually, they were both too immature and fucked up for marriage. But they did seem suited for each other; both of them were and are very screwed up.

It probably would have ruined his career and audiences would never have been subjected to him playing The Mad Hatter and Willie Wonka and Tonto and all the other roles where he's plastered with makeup to detract from his awful performance.

The weathered-from-hard-living thing can look very charismatic on males just so long as they don't bloat. Viz, Iggy Pop, who is sought after not only by photographers but for Life Drawing classes for artists, fgs. There's even a coffee-table book collecting some of the drawings. Viz, Willem Dafoe, Keith Richards, Willie Nelson, etc. Johnny has puffed and bloated, and the super-short hair accentuates that grotesquely---as with Al Gore. If he had stayed slim and stayed away from the cosmetic procedures/surgery, his skanky allure might not have been everyone's cup of tea, but it would have endured indefinitely.

Another thing, all whites in this country, meaning the United States, have benefited from African American slave labor. Prior to the industrial revolution, almost everything that was used as part of the GDP, or construction, was built on the backs of slaves. Having a white man design a building, or engineer a loading dock, doesn’t discount the fact that those things were built by slaves.

You know full well that African Americans were held as property, and in no way were even considered to be individuals who had rightful autonomy and agency. Equal footing was not the outset or introduction of Blacks into the United States.

There are thousands of books written about the American economy and slave labor. This isn’t a “position” that can be argued, this is a fact. How dare you sit here and talk about how blacks have benefited from whites, when you know that it did not become so, because blacks chose to not participate in education, and were not afforded equal opportunities? Even after emancipation, things were not equal.

Now you want to sit here, and erase hundreds of years of slavery, and tell blacks how much they have benefited from whites? Really?
