If it makes her happy, it’s her face and her life. But honestly, it just makes me sad. There was absolutely nothing wrong with her pre-surgery appearance. Nothing. She was an attractive woman who looked good for her age. I can’t help feeling that she looks like some creature from outer space now.

And in my experience, very few people stop at one procedure. There’s always one more nip, one more tuck, that’ll make things just perfect. Until the next line or sag or droop shows up.

You still get money back, regardless. Rent for 20 years and you'd get nothing back. And, people always seem to ignore the utility of having a residence to live in. Of course we want property to appreciate in value so we can profit, but to sell it for the same price after having it to live in isn't the worst thing in the world.

The more I look at her, the better it looks. Not because OP's pic doesn't look extreme, but because in addition to the work, her face is stretched from the smile and she has about two pounds of makeup on. I bet without makeup or everyday makeup, the surgery looks much more natural.

My friends and I purchased tickets to see the Gladys Knight show on Saturday, May 8, 2004, a 7:30 pm show. We are retired active adults who could not afford the floor seating so we opted for the balcony seats at $68.50 each. By 8:40pm the show was over and we were leaving the theater. It was obvious that everyone in the audience was so shocked at the short length of the show that most just sat in their chairs long after the curtain went down, as if in a state of shock. I was totally disappointed and although I traveled only from CA, my friends traveled from Florida. I think we were cheated from having a good show since two-thirds of the show was not performed by Gladys but her brother and another "new" performer. The show headlined Gladys Knight, that is who we paid to see and she only sang 2-3 songs. I think this is reprehensible and totally unacceptable. I had seen Gladys perform about 15 years ago and it was fantastic. I can't believe that she "took the money and ran." She owed it to her fans to apologize, refund the money and cancel the performance if she was ill. What she did was to insult our intelligence with a poor showing. I will never pay to see her again nor recommend her show to others.

However, we do know that its not unusual for wealthy people to invest in their children, business or otherwise. Hell its not unusual for middle class parents to help their children buy their first homes or cars. Why do you need to try to count Glady's money? She's not filing for bankruptcy. Fortunately, that is now relegated to her past. “I got into gambling when I was playing a casino,” Knight recalled. “One day a friend said, ‘Do you want to play some blackjack?’ So I played and enjoyed it. You think you can win everything but you won’t.” Knight realized she had a hit a new low one night when, not cognizant of the hours passing, suddenly realized that it was morning — and she should have been at home getting her son ready for school. This was her wake-up call. “I just got sick at the table,” she said. “I got up, went to the phone and called Gamblers Anonymous. The lady who answered said, ‘Where are you? We will come get you.’” They did and that was the start of her recovery, which was completed in record time, due to what she identifies as divine intervention. “I have a faith that is unbeatable,” she said. “As far as my Lord and Savior is concerned, I try to go the way I’m supposed to, and when I fall short, I ask for help.”
