I came out as a teen in the late 1990s and that process was already in progress, and I felt powerless to stop it. I tried to find something that wasn't tainted by that, but only the radfems, including but not limited to lesbians, seemed to see through it and they are very left-wing. If conservatives and liberals can find common ground on something, hopefully it's a legal definition of equality that doesn't deny the physical differences between men and women nor treat gays as second-class citizens.

I came out in 1972, R19 (yes, I'm an eldergay). I was very politically active in my day.
