Yes pretty obvious he will die. I am disappointed with the trailer for giving that away. They won’t resuscitate his character with his ear burned off. It’s now fairly obvious the Paris scenes where Walker and Ethan are working together are at the end beginning of the movie, and the helicopter chase is at the end of the movie, then it crashes and and his face is burned, then I think Ethan goes to rescue from the wreckage dangling off the fjord him but he still tries to fight him. I venture that the funeral scene is for his character, so maybe he still dies heroically at the end.
