Me too, especially Love My Way

I especially love the song "Mystery of Love" featured on the TV spot which is what originally made me listen to it on Spotify.

I love Visions of Gideon playing during the ending when Elio learned Oliver was getting married to a women.

Sufjan Stevens deserves the Oscar.

The soundtrack is out of this world. It totally deserve an Oscar nomination. I'm so in love with the songs. Best songs 80s vibe, beautiful and haunting memories:

MYSTERY OF LOVE is a masterpiece. I cry every time I see the commercial with it.

Why was Sufjan Stevens, an evangelical Christian, chosen to write and record an original song for a gay movie?

I don't know and I don't support his chosen religion either but I think the songs are wonderful. They balance out the pagan elements in the movie and yet all the love portrayed in the movie transcends both of those traditions. It's like they undo each other when you put them side by side and only the non-religious (pre-religious?) remains. At least that's how I'm experiencing this film and its music.
