Johnny Weir Why He DID NOT Come Out "I never came out as white" o'kay?
I never 'came out' in sport because being gay was something born in me & had nothing to do with my skating. I never came out as white,"
Weir added, “I worked for my whole life for six minutes in front of the world at the Olympics, and being gay had absolutely nothing to do with it.”
According to Outsports, the tweet drew some heat from some social media users, who called it "tone deaf" and a "horrendous" comparison between sexuality and race. "Please consider supporting out athletes without making it about yourself. Representation matters," one user commented.

A lot of gay people feel like this and don’t give a shit about gay people or their place in society, or young gay people who need someone to admire, or aspire, or relate to—or, whatever. Theyre into g4p porn and shit like that. God bless the gay people who do recognize the importance of being out. You are few and far between and you are the type of person I want in my life.

HE made excuses for Russia's homophobia during Sochi. I just can't overlook that.

Of course, he never came out as white because everyone can see his is white. There is no coming out if one is never in.
And in Johnny Weir's case, that applies to being gay. He flames. Everyone can see he is gay. Coming out would be redundant.

Was he gay before or after he fucked Helen Keller?

Yeah, when you wear a pink laced dominatrix costume to the Olympics, "coming out" is pretty obsolete at that point.
Weir always wore his gayness on his sleeve, so he certainly wasn't trying to hide who he was--but still, it's so important to stand and be counted. Representation matters so much and, whether he realizes it or not, a lot of Out athletes and celebs who chose to be counted made it possible for Weir to feel comfortable enough to wear that hideous costume in public.

Miss Thing, I can almost guarantee that if you weren't gay, you would not have become a figure skater.
