Shortest story in NY Times ever. It must have killed them to report that bit of news.

But not to their slaves who actually make their phones.

The bonuses probably went to staff who devised their planned obsolescence software updates which DELIBERATELY slowed down their phones, forcing you to buy their new ones.

Apple customers are idiots.

Is this like the AT&T bonuses that were handed out seconds before tons of layoffs?

Most likely a one-time event. And I agree with R4, the ones who should get more money are the ones who manufacture the phones that get paid poverty wages.

R4, so if you worked for Apple then I assume that you would be first in line to refuse your bonus on humanitarian grounds or accept the bonus but immediately send it to a couple of the "slave" workers you mentioned. You would need to provide some proof of having done either of the above.
