In 2015, O’Riordan was fined €6,000 following an air rage incident on an Aer Lingus plane from New York to Shannon Airport.

When she was arrested at Shannon Airport, she shouted at gardaí: “I’m an icon. I’m the queen of Limerick. You don’t know who you are dealing with. I pay my taxes so I pay your wages and I am going to sue.”

Garda Dawson told the court that the incident was “one of the worst I have ever had to deal with”.

Through our perception we decide what we pay attention to and how we see things (half glass full vs. half glass empty).
