Well, I learned about Misty Upham. I never really heard of her before. I'll try to to watch some of her movies someday. There really aren't many famous Native American actors, so she probably could have been someone very unique in the movie industry if she lived.

I feel bad after reading about her life but she sounded like a train wreck who had no sense of caution, probably from mental illness. I read she was raped by a family friend as a child, gang-raped as a teen when she moved back to the reservation and apparently raped as an adult woman at a bathroom at the Golden Globes. She probably was killed by cops or some evil asshole but she also seemed liked a perpetual victim who didn't seem to have common sense to protect herself no matter the situation.
