WTF are you talking about??

by Anonymousreply 1January 9, 2018 6:04 PM

Lawrence O'Donnell @Lawrence @Lawrence Bannon is turning over in his political grave watching Trump agree with Dems “we have to do DACA first.”

James Woods @RealJamesWoods @RealJamesWoods End #DACA completely, build the wall, defund sanctuary cities, end chain migration, enforce voter ID, and deport all lawbreakers. Democrats never listened to us when they were in control. Wake up, Republicans. You have the power. Use it, for God’s sake!

Ann Coulter @AnnCoulter @AnnCoulter After agreeing with DiFi that stand-alone DACA will come FIRST, Trump's muscle memory kicks in & he cites Israel, saying NOTHING BUT A WALL WILL WORK.

MJ Lee @mj_lee @mj_lee

This is amazing.

Feinstein: "What about a clean DACA bill now, with a commitment that we go into a comprehensive immigration reform procedure?"

Trump: “I would like it…. I think a lot of people would like to see that.”

by Anonymousreply 3January 9, 2018 6:11 PM

Trump says a lot of things.

by Anonymousreply 4January 9, 2018 6:17 PM

R4 - Exactly and then he does the opposite. I don't believe a word he says. Not a word.

by Anonymousreply 5January 9, 2018 6:18 PM

What is DACA?

by Anonymousreply 6January 9, 2018 6:18 PM

So he’s not getting rid of DACA?

by Anonymousreply 7January 9, 2018 6:26 PM

No one knows for sure r7.

The only certainty in America today is that he will eat a Big Mac.

by Anonymousreply 8January 9, 2018 6:28 PM

He needs someone his own size

R4, and as with most GOP Nazis he'll say something contradictory tomorrow, and deny that he ever said anything on the matter when questioned.

by Anonymousreply 10January 9, 2018 6:33 PM

Why is DACA the only thing the fucking Dems will fight for?

I don't think kids, and I emphasize kids, who were brought over here as minors should be deported, but it's pretty much last on my list after fucking war with North Korea, Iran and... the tax bill that will put the US into the grave, the destruction of Net Neutrality, the gutting of the national parks, Betsy du Blackwater as Sec of Education and all the other completely horrible cabinet and judge choices - the judge choices alone will destroy what's left of the representative republic our Founders envisioned.

But it's just fucking DACA, DACA, DACA.

The Dems will deliver us to decades of the GOP horrors over DACA

by Anonymousreply 11January 9, 2018 6:57 PM

True, R11

Race to the bottom: A Dem-Repub co-production

by Anonymousreply 13January 9, 2018 7:00 PM

I want the fucker dead and NO STUPID WALL. No wall. No wall.

by Anonymousreply 14January 9, 2018 7:06 PM

R14, actually building an effective border wall would cast a large percentage of the US' GDP for years, decades maybe. There is 0% chance a wall will be built. We haven't even bought up the land we'd need to build the massive highway we'd need, to access the land we also haven't bought, to build the wall on.

by Anonymousreply 15January 9, 2018 7:12 PM

Wasn't the estimate 20-40billion?

by Anonymousreply 16January 9, 2018 7:18 PM

Agree R11. No matter what anyone says, the majority of Americans want to some stem illegal immigration. Not with a wall, but in other ways. It is that issue that built his base. The Dems need to not go there and pick issues strongly felt by the moderates of both parties. Like Healthcare and presidential dignity.
