I went to high school with a large contingent of Armenians, and there is no delicate way to put this other than to say that they were not exactly popular with any other non-Armenian students. Belligerent and clannish and prone to starting fights is how one might describe them then. Of course, this was in the late 90s, not too long after their families had immigrated from the USSR, etc. so there was probably some culture shock and assimilation issues going on.
