Anyone met/know Adam Driver?

He was in the San Diego area as a Marine for a couple of years before he got hurt training and did not deploy to Iraq

I met him backstage after a play that he was in, here in NYC. He was actually quite nice. Very intelligent and well-spoken (which I wouldn't have guessed given the very animalistic performance he gave in the play) and quietly intense. He's also much taller than you think he is.

That's what I got a from a fifteen minute discussion amongst a few friends, anyway.

Did anyone see him in Angels in America or Slipping? The NYT said he was the best thing in that play.

To the person who met him at the open night before he was famous - what exactly did he do that made him an asshole? What was your theater friend's experience? I completely believe you and I would love more details.

I liked him in Silence. Jolie laide type. I think he has childbearing hips. Never met him.

Never met him, but I think he's a good actor. After Mark Hamill, he was the best thing in that Star Wars flick.....

r14, he sat at the end of the bar and didn't talk to people. He had a real air of superiority and it was only a play at the Rattlestick. A couple of us complimented him and he didn't even acknowledge he was being addressed. A friend of mine did a show in a festival and said he was the same thing--superior. Really good actor but a douche.

I saw him at McDonald’s in Brooklyn once. He got a happy meal with a cheeseburger and fries and apple slices and a sprite and a Pokémon toy. He read his phone while eating and denied being Adam Driver when asked. But it was him.
