Will there ever be a gay Disney prince or princess?
Will Disney ever do a storyline where brave Prince Luke falls in love with Prince Chad and gets everyone in both kingdoms to realize that their love is real?
Will it be two princesses because lesbians are less threatening?
If it does happen, what should the storyline be? I'm guessing both princes would have to be "masc"

A gay Disney prince who gets to fall in love with another guy.
What made me think of it was a buddy of mine was joking about what CMBYN would have been like as a Disney movie, Prince Elio and Prince Oliver, since he was saying that some gay guys were as into it as 5 year old girls are into Frozen.

Disney seems too invested in appealing to most quadrants. I'm not sure they'd flirt with a subtextual plot for a male protagonist.

Disney and anal sex don't mix.

Not anytime soon.
The “Hollywood Babylon” books talk about Walt being a pedo.

Disney cares about making money first and foremost so no.

No, because human civilization will have destroyed itself before it reached that point of tolerance.

Why does it have to come from Disney through? Why not from some indie animation project like the animated short with the two male teens and the heart?
I think what slows progress down a bit is this obsession of being validated by big companies and institutions like Disney. Do people still need that sort of validation to make being gay look cool and accepted?

Gay disney princess - yes. It has already happened on OUAT. A gay prince? Never in a million years. Hell will freeze over first, pigs will fly etc. Lesbians are hot and more accepted than gay men. There is a much greater risk adding a gay male character to a tv show or movie than a lesbian.

R6 has the correct answer.
As long as the heterosexuals outnumber the homosexuals, Disney will continue to make their main characters straight.

I think the best we can hope for now is that they will keep Elsa from Frozen ambiguous by not giving her a male love interest and, maybe, letting her have a "really good friend" who happens to be a woman.

I see it happening, but with a secondary character, not the lead.

This looks good to me. Do you think the thought that they'd appear racist would stop any of the homophobes? Probably not but would still be awesome.
