This is a question I'm interested in the answer to.
If you didn't know that Rock Hudson had AIDS, would you have had sex with him?

No. He's dead.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | December 31, 2017 7:11 PM |
Nope, he was a smoker.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | December 31, 2017 7:11 PM |
That kind of beefcake didn't interest me.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | December 31, 2017 7:12 PM |
Yes, just to say I did.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 31, 2017 8:55 PM |
Even in the early 80s, he was very handsome.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 31, 2017 10:33 PM |
He was a bottom, so no.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | December 31, 2017 11:00 PM |
He also sucked cock, R6.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | December 31, 2017 11:02 PM |
Hell yes!
by Anonymous | reply 8 | January 8, 2018 7:18 PM |
He was a fixture at Hollywood gay parties and bathhouses. A huge horn dog
by Anonymous | reply 9 | January 8, 2018 7:23 PM |
He was gorgeous in his prime!
by Anonymous | reply 10 | January 8, 2018 7:33 PM |
There should be a choice for "HELL, YES!" or "OF COURSE!". And a former neighbor of his told me that he was a very nice, kind, helpful person too.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | January 8, 2018 7:38 PM |
He was cute in the 50s/60s. I didn't find the mustached version on TV very handsome.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | January 8, 2018 8:18 PM |
Too handsome/pretty. Never did a thing for me.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | January 8, 2018 8:36 PM |
Millennial gays take note: this is what a REAL man looks like.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 8, 2018 8:42 PM |
He was incredibly good looking, so yeah, you betcha.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | January 8, 2018 8:45 PM |
Not by the 80s, no.
Before that, sure.
Partly b/c he was very handsome, and partly because he was rumored to be hung like a horse!
by Anonymous | reply 18 | January 8, 2018 8:47 PM |
Extraordinarily handsome but not my type.
William Holden yes.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | January 9, 2018 12:20 AM |
I would, with the usual precautions I take with any other pos guy. I'm not pos and I've been having sex with pos guys since the late 80s.

Didn’t he earn the nickname “The Sewer” because no sex act or sexual partner was beneath him?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | January 9, 2018 12:26 AM |
I remember the quote that Henry Wilson had very high standards for who he’d have sex with.
Even at the time, around his discovery, Rock had none. “Rock would sleep with anyone.”
by Anonymous | reply 22 | January 9, 2018 12:27 AM |
I could never understand why anyone thought he was good looking. There were so, so many others much better looking with much better bodies. I don't know how or why he got the reputation as the ultimate good looking man. But then again people like Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne were never much but everyone thought they were "it" too.

I'm sure this football team was all about Rock and his cock.

I read a short story in a book recently that imagines Rock going out and tricking with a young guy at a gay club in D.C. after he attends the White House state dinner. Earlier in the story, he recalls topping a young White House intern. I was surprised because I always heard that he was a bottom. Is that verified or was he versatile?

OP - This is Data Lounge. If it has a penis, and a breath, the men at this site would 'tap that'.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | January 9, 2018 3:39 PM |
He was an absolute hunk. I can't for the life of me understand why a gay man would answer no. Have they misread the question?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | January 9, 2018 3:41 PM |
What book R25? I'm interested.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | January 9, 2018 4:05 PM |
R28, At Danceteria and Other Stories. It came out in 2016.

Which "members of the 1962 [Kentucky football] team became involved in a gay sex scandal involving actor Rock Hudson"?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | January 9, 2018 4:24 PM |
Thanks R25.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | January 9, 2018 4:27 PM |
Absolutely.

On the subject of Rock's potential D.C. hook-up back in 1984:
According to one of his biographies ("Rock Hudson: His Story"), a young man who Rock had fucked in D.C. during that White House state dinner trip, had to be contacted by one of his handlers in order to inform him that someone he'd recently slept with had tested positive for AIDS. So, that story does ring true.
