Height isn't really a concern for gay men, so long as the other guy isn't a complete extreme. Look at what guys here obsess over: muscularity, beauty, dick size, sometimes body hair or youth, depending on one's tastes. There's almost never any gushing over how tall the various Instagram whores are, for example.

Based on my observations on the apps and Craigslist, starting about 3 years ago, there has been height inflation, with most guys claiming to be over 6', and many claiming to be 6'2", which is preposterous.

The reason I realized this is because I don't like getting with really tall guys (over 6'1"), and would filter out tall guys in the apps. And I noticed that guys that used to be within my parameters began being filtered out, while also remarking that everybody who mentioned their height on a dating or hookup site claimed to be over 6'.

I have little preference, except that as a top, I don't want to fuck guys much over 6 feet tall, because the ergonomics are all messed up when you're much shorter than they are. When I discover a guy, is under 5'11, my attraction just evaporates. I don't know why and how that arbitrary height, but it's the minimum for me. 6'3" here too, and I've never really cared about height in partners. My serious long-termers (a year or more) were 6', 5'5, and 5'10. There just were not a lot of other very tall single guys in the dating pool but I would have been fine with that.

Super tall guys with super short ones just look odd together.
