Tony Armstrong-Jones (aka Lord Snowden) for the early lead...
Matt Goode has always had a following on DL.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | December 11, 2017 8:24 PM |
I love the actress who plays Margaret.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | December 11, 2017 8:26 PM |
Matt Smith vs Prince Philip.
Smith sometimes looks downright goofy in photos, but I think there's something very hot about his Philip.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 11, 2017 8:30 PM |
Matthew Goode was cute on Downton Abbey too. He's not exactly my type but I still think he's handsome.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 11, 2017 8:33 PM |
Is Matthew Goode in both seasons? How much screentime? Shirtless? Pantsless?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | December 11, 2017 8:58 PM |
Haven't watched "The Crown" yet but Jeremy Northam has done full frontal nudity in the past and acted, sang and looked great in "Gosford Park" as Ivor Novello. Hope he's still looking good -- should have become a bigger star.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 11, 2017 9:01 PM |
I still have a weakness for Jeremy Northam.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 11, 2017 11:21 PM |
I actually have a thing for Will Kean, who played the Queen's private secretary Michael Adeane. He's very fit (as you can tell from the most recent season), and he's very sexy-bald.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 11, 2017 11:50 PM |
^ A shoe for every foot (or however that goes). ^
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 11, 2017 11:52 PM |
Here are the kids at the Season 2 premiere in LA.
The Queen has chopped all her hair off, Philip has let his go dark, and Margaret has gone California blonde.
I love actors.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 12, 2017 12:15 AM |
bump
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 17, 2017 5:20 AM |
I think Matt Smith is so handsome.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 17, 2017 5:24 AM |
You forgot Julian Ovendon as RFK.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 17, 2017 6:47 AM |
I like the moustache on the guy who plays her father’s former press secretary who keeps coming out of retirement. Don’t know the actor’s name.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 17, 2017 6:52 AM |
Matthew Goode and it's not even close.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 17, 2017 7:14 AM |
i want to suck off Matt Smith while he is on the tardis being diddled by david tennant
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 17, 2017 7:17 AM |
Keep those votes coming!
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 19, 2017 6:35 PM |
Matt Smith seems too smug for my taste, though it's more likely the character of Philip who holds zero appeal for me.
I only knew Ben Miles from the stage version of WOLF HALL on Broadway, and think he's really hot in THE CROWN.
Northam has gained a bit of weight, but he still has something about him that is so appealing. He was briefly married - hopefully he's not totally straight.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | December 19, 2017 6:43 PM |
Matt Smith is smug and COCKy.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 19, 2017 6:53 PM |
Northam has always pinged for me, sometimes quite loudly.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | December 19, 2017 6:57 PM |
Matthew Goode looks greate.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | December 19, 2017 7:03 PM |
Matt Smith is my bloody favourite! I often fantasise about him.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 19, 2017 7:05 PM |
[quote]Is Matthew Goode in both seasons? How much screentime? Shirtless? Pantsless?
Matthew Goode featured prominently in two episodes in season 2. He does have a sex scene and we see his bum.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | December 19, 2017 7:08 PM |
Matt Smith seems much more attractive/sexy in interviews than in the show.
I found his RATTY KOREAN WIG very distracting in the show. It was too far down his forehead. And didn't blend in the back.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 19, 2017 7:25 PM |
I'm surprised there isn't more love for Daniel Ings as the Prince's bff Mike Parker.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | December 25, 2017 7:46 PM |
Why was The Reverend Billy Graham left off this list.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | December 25, 2017 8:01 PM |
John Heffernan, the actor who played Lord Altrincham. I love them goofy-looking like that.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | December 25, 2017 8:01 PM |
There are hotter photos of John Heffernan out there, though.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | December 25, 2017 8:03 PM |
No votes for stumbling around Winston Churchill?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | December 25, 2017 8:03 PM |
R29 Paul Sparks can be hot when he's all done up. And just like with John Heffernan, the beard does miracles for him.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | December 25, 2017 8:08 PM |
i would love to be dped by Matt Goode and Matt Smith while sucking off John Heffernan
by Anonymous | reply 34 | December 25, 2017 8:14 PM |
How the hell did Amir Boutros as Abdul Nasser get left off the list??
by Anonymous | reply 35 | December 25, 2017 8:18 PM |
Edward VIII apparently too much of a nelly bottom to be attractive hete. Or a non-binary.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | December 25, 2017 8:21 PM |
Amir Boutrous (playing Abdul Nasser), per R35's suggestion.
R36 [SPOILER] The Nazi thing is probably a dealbreaker for most of us, honestly.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | December 25, 2017 9:18 PM |
*Abdel Nasser, sorry.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | December 25, 2017 9:19 PM |
I think Matthew Goode looks awful. Too old and desicated for the young and vital Tony Armstrong-Jones.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | December 25, 2017 11:47 PM |
Daniel Ings with a beard is SUPER sexy
by Anonymous | reply 40 | December 25, 2017 11:53 PM |
Matt Smith's wig is needing major attention in Season 2. How can they be spending so many millions of dollars and not see that?
by Anonymous | reply 41 | December 26, 2017 11:38 PM |
Not Michael C Hall who manged to make JFK seem like a thug.
Did Julian Ovenden think RFK would be more of a featured role? He was barely more than an extra.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | December 29, 2017 1:47 AM |
Not exactly a thug; more like a creep. Which JFK definitely was. So Hall was successful on that front, even though there is zero facial resemblance. Jackie was a total miss, though, on all levels.
Ovenden is very cute. But not as cute as the guy next to him. Can't believe Tatiana Maslany gets to eat that ass.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | December 29, 2017 2:04 AM |
I vote for Matt Smith. He has sexy feets. The actor that plays young Phillip in the school episode is going to be a stunner when he grows up, he was very good in the role too. Margaret steals every scene she's in.
How much of this series is accurate? I've learned a lot from it do I hope I'm not being snookered.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | December 29, 2017 2:29 AM |
I've come to realize that one of the reasons I've so loved watching both seasons of The Crown is that I'm American and therefore watch it without too much prejudicial knowledge of the real people and events. And it's so beautifully produced written and acted.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | December 29, 2017 2:37 AM |
Matt Smith. Tall skinny guys have always been my thing
by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 29, 2017 2:43 AM |
Have to agree about Matt Smith. Normally I wouldn't find his type at all appealing but he is just charismatically sexy as Prince Philip.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | December 29, 2017 2:47 AM |
When it gets to season 6, the show should hire back Matt Smith, but this time to play Harry.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | December 30, 2017 6:46 PM |
Matt Smith has BDF. Historical accuracy be damed, I'd love Phillip to shag Vanessa Kirby's Margaret. They've displayed some raw sexual chemistry in the few scenes they've shared.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | December 30, 2017 7:00 PM |
R11 -- I agree, Will Keen is sexy as fuck in a not particularly sexy role.
BTW, I had no idea his daughter was Dafne Keen, the young actress who starred opposite heterosexual actor Hugh Jackman in Logan and practically stole the movie.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | December 30, 2017 7:03 PM |
You guys have awful taste. The show is entertaining, but none of the guys are remotely hot. They're all over 25, and there's not a six-pack or baseball biceps or a bubble butt in sight. Wake me up from your conversation when Frankie from Real Housewives of NJ joins the show.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | December 30, 2017 7:14 PM |
r52 = greaser
by Anonymous | reply 53 | December 30, 2017 7:15 PM |
Matt Smith is amazingly hot and nails the cockiness. I would not have guessed he had it in him after seeing him as the goofy Doctor, but he's divine. That thick nose....unf.
I also like the actor playing Tommy, despite his moustache reminding me of the character Victor Newman from Young and the Restless. And the Prince's friend Mike is also hot (as R28 mentions).
by Anonymous | reply 54 | January 4, 2018 10:17 PM |
he's very fetching
by Anonymous | reply 56 | January 5, 2018 12:19 AM |
R44 Everything that is plotline based is historically accurate. What cannot be deemed factual are any private conversations.
The series has an added sexy element to it that really wouldn’t have been there in that way. The Queen and Philip are so posh in reality, they wouldn’t be like smouldering volcanos constantly waiting to erupt. Prince Philip was a notorious adulterer and I think the Queen just accepted that’s what men did.
Princess Margret is probably the most accurate portrayal. In fact, as hard as it is to believe - they are making her out to be more likeable than she really was. She was a complete cow. She met her match with Snowden as their marriage ended up being hateful. He saw reducing her to tears as sheer sport and would leave nasty notes for her all over the house. She then ran off with a hippy toyboy.
So far seasons 1 & 2 have spanned 1947 to 1964. Olivia Colman is taking up the role now and has signed on for two seasons. So if these two seasons span 17 years from 1964, season 4 should conclude in 1981. Nothing particularly eventful happened to the Royals in 1981 did it?
That’s a thought - how to make Prince Charles hot!
by Anonymous | reply 57 | January 5, 2018 12:30 AM |
r52 watch porn then
by Anonymous | reply 58 | January 5, 2018 12:32 AM |
Tony Armstrong-Jones was the RARE opportunity to cast a hot sexy actor as someone who truly was sexy hot. Is Mathew Goode really the best they could do? Maybe 15 years ago he would have been appropriate casting but not any more.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | January 5, 2018 1:17 AM |
How will the series deal with the rumors of Diana and her horseman, rumored father of Harry? Who will play that hot ginger?
by Anonymous | reply 61 | January 5, 2018 1:18 AM |
I always think of the guy at R55 as Edith's husband.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | January 5, 2018 2:55 AM |
Thanks r57
Who will play Phillip and Margaret next? Anyone know? I liked Olivia Colman in The Night Manager so looking forward to her here too.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | January 5, 2018 3:03 AM |
lots of brits
by Anonymous | reply 64 | January 5, 2018 4:13 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 66 | January 5, 2018 4:59 AM |
Jeremy Northam isn't the most handsome but he certainly is very handsome and charming as the defeated Eden. Real DILF.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | January 6, 2018 4:58 AM |
Will the other characters be recast as well? It would be odd for Vanessa Kirby and Olivia Colman to play sisters only several years apart in age, especially with that permanent frown on Olivia's face.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | January 7, 2018 1:15 AM |
Claire Foy is so great as QEII, I will miss this characterization. The series is kind of silly but its nice to watch them all act. Princess Margaret seems more palatable here than the real Princess was.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | January 7, 2018 1:19 AM |
indeed, the real princess seemed arrogant and stuck-up
by Anonymous | reply 70 | January 7, 2018 1:34 AM |
I'm going to miss Claire Foy. From what I read, it wasn't her or Matt's choice to leave. They could've used aging makeup, for god's sake. They're keeping Victoria Hamilton as queen mother.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | January 7, 2018 1:56 AM |
that's a shitty shame
by Anonymous | reply 72 | January 7, 2018 2:05 AM |
[quote] I'm going to miss Claire Foy. From what I read, it wasn't her or Matt's choice to leave.
But she's also said that they knew going in before they started that it would only be two years.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | January 7, 2018 12:54 PM |
I'd eat out Matt Smith's lanky ass.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | January 7, 2018 8:16 PM |
I really want Pip Torrens (Tommy Lascelles) deep inside me. I don’t care if he’s wearing a rug on The Crown. I just want him to penetrate me staring down at me with those sexy eyes of his.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | January 7, 2018 9:43 PM |
Matt does have a beautiful ass.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | January 7, 2018 9:48 PM |
r76 It tastes soo good. Ask the weaselly but slim built Arthur Dravil!
by Anonymous | reply 77 | January 7, 2018 10:30 PM |
R75 Me too. He's hot as fuck.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | January 7, 2018 10:31 PM |
I love Claire Foy so I think it's better that she move on before she's too typecast as Lillibet.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | January 7, 2018 10:33 PM |
Did Porchey poke Lilibet in The Royal Cooter?
by Anonymous | reply 80 | January 8, 2018 2:02 PM |
he did
by Anonymous | reply 81 | January 8, 2018 4:30 PM |
Matt Smith does it for me. Quintessential BDF.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | January 8, 2018 5:55 PM |
Mathew Goode is so much hotter

and that delicious ass.....
by Anonymous | reply 84 | January 8, 2018 9:03 PM |
Matt Smith truly is delicious. I just want to lick his face whenever he's on screen. Such a fucking masculine face.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | January 8, 2018 9:09 PM |
Matt Smith is adorable in interviews.
Matthew Goode, for the first time, is not looking so great.
by Anonymous | reply 86 | January 8, 2018 9:11 PM |
Per People magazine, Helena Bonham Carter is all but confirmed to play Margaret in the next two seasons. (She's already played her mother, the Queen Mother, in The King's Speech.)
by Anonymous | reply 87 | January 8, 2018 9:22 PM |
I wish Matt was fucking me like that instead of the mattress.
I never saw this side of him as The Doctor but daaaamn, he's all kinds of hot here.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | January 8, 2018 9:30 PM |
I wish The Crown had won a Golden Globe or 2 last night. I would have loved to see and hear more of Mat and Claire. Did it get any Emmys last year?
by Anonymous | reply 90 | January 8, 2018 9:31 PM |
The guy in the scene where Matt Goode was in bed with the married couple was the hottest.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | January 8, 2018 9:35 PM |
His name is Ed Cooper Clarke and he plays Jeremy Fry
by Anonymous | reply 92 | January 8, 2018 9:38 PM |
Greg Wise (Lord Mountbatten) is still a beautiful looking man. That Emma Thompson is one lucky bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | January 9, 2018 12:53 AM |
I want Greg Wise to sit on my face
by Anonymous | reply 95 | January 9, 2018 2:31 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 96 | January 9, 2018 5:30 AM |
The guy playing Philip's friend/secretary was hot too.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | January 10, 2018 2:56 AM |
especially with the beard
by Anonymous | reply 98 | January 11, 2018 3:11 PM |
It's a sad state of affairs when Matt Smith is the second most attractive man anywhere. He's probably a great guy but eww.
by Anonymous | reply 99 | January 11, 2018 3:13 PM |
I'm not into twinks, but the teen who played Young Philip is breathtakingly beautiful. He will grow up to be a very handsome man.
by Anonymous | reply 100 | January 11, 2018 3:19 PM |
R75 I agree! There is something about Pip Torrens that I find very sexy in that role. I believe Torrens is family in real life.
by Anonymous | reply 101 | January 11, 2018 3:27 PM |
So did Matthew Goode stuff his crotch during the sex scenes cause they highlighted his bulge big time.
by Anonymous | reply 102 | January 11, 2018 3:29 PM |
Goode is really good-looking but I have serious issues with his acting, which is TERRIBLE.
by Anonymous | reply 103 | January 11, 2018 3:45 PM |
he's got the best lines
by Anonymous | reply 104 | January 11, 2018 5:23 PM |
Just saw the first episode Goode is in and I have to say, he is not as attractive here as he was in Downton. They appear to have lightened his hair and applied makeup that makes his eyes looks smaller, so that may be it.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | January 11, 2018 8:28 PM |
he looks the the man he depicted
by Anonymous | reply 106 | January 12, 2018 3:28 PM |
Daniel Ings is super hot. As someone who grew up learning about this history, its quite well done.
by Anonymous | reply 107 | January 12, 2018 3:37 PM |
I hope there will be a role in Season 3 for the hot daddy who played Farmer Tim in Downton Abbey.
by Anonymous | reply 108 | January 12, 2018 3:53 PM |
me too
by Anonymous | reply 109 | January 12, 2018 6:38 PM |
Despite the bad wig, Matt Smith looks so much better as a blond. The jet black hair is not an attractive look on him.
by Anonymous | reply 110 | January 12, 2018 6:54 PM |
Matt Smith is not good looking AT ALL in my book.
The best was Margaret's husband, and he wasn't all that.
by Anonymous | reply 111 | June 30, 2018 12:37 PM |
Agreed, r110, i voted for him because he looks great in the crown, in real life not so much (the cockiness of the role helps too).
Mathew Goode belongs to that thread of beautiful men who are not sexy.
by Anonymous | reply 112 | June 30, 2018 1:07 PM |
The Prince Phillip actor hands down is the hottest with the exception of his wig. The hairline is very noticeable and fake.
by Anonymous | reply 113 | June 30, 2018 1:09 PM |
Matt Smith's body, plus the cockiness as Phillip, did it for me.
I also like Tommy Lascelles (for a hot stern daddy) and Phillip's friend Mike (for beefy masculinity).
Matthew Goode is a little wan looking here compared to other roles in which I've seen him play.
by Anonymous | reply 114 | June 30, 2018 1:12 PM |
Matthew Goode does look wan. Lost weight for the role or health issues, I wonder?
I think they should have kept the current cast for one more season. That would only have taken Philip, Liz, and Margaret into their 40s. With aging makeup the actors could have made that believable. Then they could have recast just the once for seasons 4-6, rather than planning another big cast shift after season 4, as they're doing now.
As for the hottest men, I vote for that fabulous bitch Tommy Lascelles.
by Anonymous | reply 115 | June 30, 2018 3:21 PM |
Harry Hadden-Paton as Martin Charteris is strangely compelling to me. I think he'd be a fine boyfriend.
by Anonymous | reply 116 | June 30, 2018 4:58 PM |
Daniel Ings for me. Sexy, furry stud!
