Jeremy Piven series canceled by CBS after sex pest claims

It probably would've been canceled anyway

An acquaintance of mine claims he was in a three way where he and some other guy spit-roasted Jeremy Piven in Las Vegas. Years ago.

I have no reason not to believe him.

Now lots of other people are out of work. Should have just replaced him.

Would it be safe to say his collapse is complete?

I read gossip just last week that Piven was distraught on the set of the show two weeks ago, troubled about these allegations. Well, I guess CBS obtained more receipts and killed his show.

But R3, I thought the fraus said he was straight?

He is straight, a true "sex pest" indeed, and I heard last week about the upcoming cancellation from someone who worked on the show. Apparently, the production was halted some time ago because the showrunners were bracing themselves for the fallout from the dirt that they thought was going to come out.

CBS just doesn't want to admit they picked another show that fucking sucked. Even the premise was ridiculous.

He played Harry Selfridge like an asshole. No wonder Frances O'Connor's character died so she could bail on that show.

I always wondered why Ellen never had him on her show. He was a big part of her sitcom in the 90s and has plenty to promote social nice then. She's a cold fish and he's an asshole but I wonder how they relate to each other.

I hate the way he talks. It's as if he is always struggling to breath and talk at the same time.

Believe me, *everyone* in the business knew those were not mere allegations. Even the jaded Hollywood people knew this asshole was a fucking sexual harassment case waiting to happen. I'm honestly surprised they tolerated him this long considering that he's never been particularly discreet and his prey included a lot of women who are non-Hollywood.

Does anyone know how old Cassidy Freeman was when she was allegedly harassed by him? She said she was "far too young", which suggests she was a minor.

A woman told me a couple years ago he cornered her and grabbed at her on the set of "Entourage" - the TV show. I keep waiting to see if she will come forward, but I doubt it since she was pretty embarrassed by it.

The actors insisted that all the stand-ins on the movie were female, since there was too much male energy on set. The crew members took on the douchey attitude and behavior as the cast, and it was the most aggro, harrassment-heavy set in town. It would never last more than a season today.

I watched the first episode of this new series. The show was going to be quickly cancelled with or without Piven's history.

I thought it was Jeremy Renner who there were gay rumours about not Jeremy Piven?

It was just a Jeremy, blatantly propositioning a guy at a party in New York. People assumed it was Renner, even though he's a West Coast guy. Could have been him, Piven, Miller, Irons, etc.

It's a bit far-fetched, but I like the premise of the show. CBS could make a winner out of it by killing off Priven's character, his bitchy bug-eyed girlfriend, and Tariq. Bring in decent characters who aren't condescending SJWs, and they might have a hit makeover like The Practice in its final season.
