Richard Spencer says woman should not be allowed to vote

These guys feel inadequate with women and probably couldn't get dates in high school right?

by Anonymousreply 43June 2, 2018 7:58 PM

If women or POC weren't allowed to vote, white men would create a society that would put the Republic to Gilead to shame

by Anonymousreply 1October 15, 2017 4:36 PM

Closet case, you think?

by Anonymousreply 2October 15, 2017 4:36 PM

He went to an all boys school k-12 so.. yes. No girl dates and/or closet case

by Anonymousreply 3October 15, 2017 4:42 PM

He needs to get that rosacea in check.

by Anonymousreply 4October 15, 2017 4:42 PM

Spencer singlehandedly killed the alt-right brand less than a year after his guy won. The sleazy e-book salesmen who crowned themselves kings of the "movement" have all turned on each other. The press only cover him because he's such a clown, but Spencer's not in on the joke.

Say what you will about feminists, but contra Milo et al they were able to work together in a way the alt-right has utterly failed to do. They should have been able to use Trump's win as traction, but thank God they've ruined it all by themselves. Alt-right men ruin everything, ha ha ha.

by Anonymousreply 5October 15, 2017 4:45 PM

Another attention-seeking white guy with a poor to middling mind.

There's a bumper crop of them now because the media keeps feeding them.

by Anonymousreply 6October 15, 2017 4:56 PM

Btw a lot of single-issue "right to life"ers would answer this question the same way

by Anonymousreply 7October 15, 2017 5:01 PM

This is how the conservatives are spinning this one

[quote]The rise of Spencer was engineered by lib media logistics and he's kept afloat by lib mole-trolls playing Natsis.

by Anonymousreply 8October 15, 2017 5:11 PM

Spencer liked a tweet that says “no healthy civilization with any future celebrates sodomy.”

I’m confused. He is almost as flamboyant as Paul Lynde, at least in Lindsey Graham and Cockgobbler Aaron Schock territory.

by Anonymousreply 9June 2, 2018 1:43 PM

Why is anyone reporting on this person? Is this really news-worthy, or just outrage trolling?

by Anonymousreply 10June 2, 2018 1:49 PM

Richard Spencer should feel inadequate.

He is inadequate.

by Anonymousreply 11June 2, 2018 1:59 PM

Spencer has been rumored to be a closet case for a while now, even among other alt-righty-whities.

That’s a question worth discussing, R10. I don’t know the answer or if there is a correct one. Here’s my take: Richard Spencer was identified by Breitbart as a leading alt-right “intellectual” before most people knew what Breitbart was, and almost no one had heard of either it or Spencer before the 2016 presidential campaign. However, Breitbart had a significant following and more influence than anyone gave it credit for, and it promoted Spencer’s “intellectualism” as a new social movement. That was unknown to most, easy to dismiss by most. Then the Atlantic released video of Spencer leading a “Hail Trump! Hail Victory!” call with a Nazi salute days after the election. Easily dismissed by most as a small, uninfluential group of white supremacists. And then Bannon took the White House and then Spencer led Nazis and KKK to Charlottesville, where a woman was killed on live TV with no consequences, and the president declared “very fine people on both sides.” At that time, the Atlantic did a feature on Spencer and so did journalist Juju Chang, whom he told on camera there’d be a race war here in the US and that she shoule leave voluntarily and give this country to European Americans before it gets “very bloody.” So the question now is, should we ignore Spencer and people like him and deny them the attention they want? Or is it wise to stay aware of what they say and do because we all should know by now that sometimes ignoring an infection allows is to fester and metastacize instead of making it die from neglect. So what do we do? Ignore him and hope he goes away, or pay attention to what he does without giving him undue high-profile media attention that would spread the disease?

by Anonymousreply 13June 2, 2018 2:01 PM

Spencer is gay. Say whatever you like, but sometimes you just know and I just know. I knew the guy from Prison Break was gay, I knew Anderson Cooper was gay. Some people are just as obviously gay as they are obviously male or female, black or white. I don’t really care about whether he is runored to be gay or not. He is.

by Anonymousreply 14June 2, 2018 2:03 PM

R13, someone this obviously disreputable should be ignored. New organizations confuse "reporting" with giving a platform to every nutjob in order to get clicks. Views such as his don't deserve to be repeated. It is just outrage trolling.

by Anonymousreply 15June 2, 2018 2:08 PM

R15 I agree with you about not broadly reporting on them and denying them publicity. I disagree about not monitoring them. All these white supremacists evidently have been festering and spreading off the radar for sometime and Trump gave them an opportunity to go mainstream—WAY more people, and more of a threat, than I ever imagined this country could harbor. People need to stay aware of what’s going on.

by Anonymousreply 16June 2, 2018 2:12 PM

Spencer is the asshole who claimed Depeche Mode is the official band of the alt-right. Despite one of their earlier hits People Are People being exactly against people like Spencer.

DM wasn't obviously having any of it. The lead singer Dave Gahan called Spencer a cunt and said they have nothing to do with the alt-right.

I’m looking him up now and he seems to be in even worse shape than Milo. He deleted his Instagram account, he tweeted yesterday that his website host killed AltRight.com, his profile says he has a website in his own name but the site does not exist, and it looks like he is trying to crowdsource his income. He’a the president of “the National Policy Institute,” whose website features Veddy Impressive Neoclassical Column stock photos...and the “about us” page shows that the alleged organization has two people on staff—him and another guy whose title is executive director. He’s a big loser, just like Milo.

Here’s how I know we have made progress toward equality in my lifetime: instead of feeling any responsibility to support a gay dude on the basis of his being openly gay, or to feel at all sorry for another gay dude for not having the courage to come out, I can resent them both and fully accept that people are equal enough that homos can be just a rotten through and through and being part of the same marginalized gay tribe is absolutely no reason to give a shit about a person.

by Anonymousreply 18June 2, 2018 2:23 PM

Closet gay. Duh.

by Anonymousreply 19June 2, 2018 2:25 PM

Oh, ha, he didn’t delete his Instagram account. Facebook did.

Funny, women say Richard Spencer should not be allowed to vote. And given his background, actions and philosophy, they're right.

by Anonymousreply 21June 2, 2018 2:44 PM

Something tells me he sings showtunes and cries while he has sex, and he can’t climax except when he is alone.

by Anonymousreply 22June 2, 2018 2:47 PM

R10, it's the mad bumper replying to old threads again.

As for why this was originally reported on, it's from that brief moment when the media was trying to make Spencer a thing. It didn't take, in part because of lame ass shit like this. I mean, Vox Day and Milo had already announced that women should be forbidden from voting, so no one cared about Spencer saying it too.

by Anonymousreply 23June 2, 2018 2:48 PM

He tells it like it is!

by Anonymousreply 24June 2, 2018 2:49 PM

God how I detest the term "alt-right". It is the type of term used by people and news organizations because they think it sounds trendy and clever. Let's use honest language: he's a fascist.

by Anonymousreply 25June 2, 2018 2:57 PM

Yeah, cause, um, Trump started this whole thing. That works for me.

by Anonymousreply 28June 2, 2018 3:53 PM

I give Spencer some credit for his honesty, he is a proud neo-nazi and doesn't pretend to be otherwise.

So many of these alt-right fuckers want to pretend they aren't bigoted facists. Try to con people into thinking they are reasonable human beings.

by Anonymousreply 29June 2, 2018 3:54 PM

R29 He does pretend to be otherwise. In the viral video where he gets punched in the face, he said, “No, I am not a Nazi.”

by Anonymousreply 30June 2, 2018 4:00 PM

Richard Spencer is a bloated sack of used condoms and shit. I hope the FBI stays on him morning to night and makes his life a living hell. Then I hope he and Milo die in a murder-suicide.

by Anonymousreply 31June 2, 2018 4:29 PM

He and Milo do belong together, although honestly while I am certain Spencer is a repressed self-loathing gay man lately I’ve wondered if Milo is actually gay. He has odd mannerisms but they’re not really especially gay; they’re more like he has a neurological problem. He’s never been seen actually dating another gay guy. All his bro friends at Breitbart were straight. And he has played up the flamboyance to such comical effect that it makes all gay people look bad.

by Anonymousreply 32June 2, 2018 4:34 PM

by Anonymousreply 34June 2, 2018 5:58 PM

R34 Richard has acne and moles galore

by Anonymousreply 35June 2, 2018 6:00 PM

[quote]lately I’ve wondered if Milo is actually gay.

You're finally cluing in, R32.

by Anonymousreply 36June 2, 2018 6:03 PM

This goes without saying but Richard Spencer has a truly awful face. It should be punched every day. Maybe that would improve it.

by Anonymousreply 37June 2, 2018 6:52 PM

Well, R32 and R36, if Milo is in fact a deep-cover hetero spy, he showed real commitment to the role in marrying his (allegedly) African-American boyfriend, especially now that gay marriage is legally valid across the USA.

by Anonymousreply 38June 2, 2018 7:18 PM

R38 NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN AN ALLEGED HUSBAND OR BOYFRIEND. Ever. No one has ever seen him in any romantic situation with any man, including a gay man. Google him and find one image of him with a romantic interest.

by Anonymousreply 39June 2, 2018 7:20 PM

I'm not really disagreeing with you, R39, which is why I put the "allegedly" in. I should have added another "allegedly" before "marrying." I've just been refreshing my memory by reading his Wikipedia entry. He sounds like a classic self-hating gay - like a throwback to the 1950s.

by Anonymousreply 40June 2, 2018 7:28 PM

R40 Right, that has been his schtick. But just like it is pretty obvious he says he is into “big black cock” specifically so that he can say “I can’t be racist! I like black cock!” he could be playing gay so that he can say “I can’t be a woman hater! I’m a fag!” His career started with his extreme misogyny. Maybe the gay act was just a shield from criticism.

by Anonymousreply 41June 2, 2018 7:30 PM

Interesting that the little fascist pussyboy wants Depeche Mode to be the soundtrack of his dream movement, r 17.

His douchebro self knows as well as anyone that DM was celebrated by us gays way before they broke into the mainstream, and that their music is the antithesis of his ugly fictions.

20 years ago, 5 years ago the thought of women losing the vote seemed crazy but isn't the logical conclusion of much republican rethoric? And republican women seem to be fine with it. I hate to think of a world where women in positions of power is an historical occurance.
