Pennywise and Carrie on the same show! I'm intrigued.

No.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 12, 2017 10:06 PM |
This looks as good as "The Mist"!
by Anonymous | reply 3 | October 12, 2017 10:15 PM |
Why is it on Hulu? Obviously they don't want the majority of the world's population to be able to see it.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | October 12, 2017 10:48 PM |
The cast is pretty great so I'm looking forward to it.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 12, 2017 11:00 PM |
These thing happen.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 4, 2018 10:40 PM |
Bill Skarsgård is so fucking gorgeous. I can’t wait to watch this, summer is too far away!
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 4, 2018 10:43 PM |
I'm not the biggest Stephen King fan, and half the references will probably go over my head, but I'll give anything with Andre Holland a try.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | February 4, 2018 10:46 PM |
loooooooooove bill
often cum to the thought of him gagging me with his fat cock and sitting his dirty asshole on my face.
fuk me up!
by Anonymous | reply 10 | February 4, 2018 10:54 PM |
First three of ten episodes out tonight on Hulu. The reviews are mixed to positive, mainly saying that it might be a bit inaccessible to those who aren't familiar with most of King's work. Which makes me think the fans will really like it.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 25, 2018 3:32 PM |
Is Bill Skarsgård of the homosexual variety like his brother?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 25, 2018 6:40 PM |
Watching the first epi now. I had no idea Noel Fisher (of Shameless fame) was in it! What a pleasant surprise.
r14 From all the evidence I've seen on DL in various threads about him, he seems straight. Maybe bi.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 25, 2018 6:48 PM |
I always thought his acting was far superior to Cameron Monaghan's. We'll see how he fares here. First impression's good.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 25, 2018 7:10 PM |
Christ, Billy done starved himself for this role. Though his attempt at facial hair just might be even more tragic than mine.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 25, 2018 7:19 PM |
Bill is fucking beautiful.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 25, 2018 7:52 PM |
I'm still waiting for the reboot of Fraggle Rock.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 25, 2018 7:56 PM |
Sissy Spacek's face is absolutely gorgeous and so expressive. I'm so glad that she never had any work done (or, if she did, that it was very subtle work).
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 25, 2018 8:13 PM |
r20 I love how DL can still make me laugh out loud now and then.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | July 25, 2018 8:18 PM |
r18 Isn't he just? I'm waiting for a better version so I can make a hi-res gif of his abs.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | July 25, 2018 8:53 PM |
Here for André Holland.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 25, 2018 9:00 PM |
r23 Yeah, it's been a while since I saw the trailer so I had completely forgotten he was in this. First Fisher, then him; the premiere was just full of pleasant surprises for me.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | July 25, 2018 9:04 PM |
Yaaas, Skarsgård abs, come through!
Feels a bit wrong that I'm attracted to him because of what his character went through but the dick wants what the dick wants.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 25, 2018 11:07 PM |
The aforementioned patchy facial hair. Is it not just the saddest thing ever? But I'm even more attracted to him because of it. Very relatable.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | July 25, 2018 11:09 PM |
Bill is. so. fucking. tall. The new idiot haircut makes him look completely different, and not in a bad way.
No one else watching this? I thought the first three episodes were okay. I'm intrigued by the story and the characters, although the script, the cinematography, and the sound design could all be punched up a bit in order to make the town more atmospheric than it is now. Or maybe that was the point, i.e. putting these supernatural things into a generic town and let the juxtaposition do the rest? If so, I'm not really feeling that approach. The voiceover seems a bit dated as well.
I guess I'm just spoiled by Sharp Objects and expect that level of artistry everywhere now. I'll definitely continue watching it because the plot intrigues me and of course, some of the actors are truly fabulous.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 29, 2018 2:37 PM |
Is that a straight mating ritual he's engaging in or was it just a really bad itch?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | July 29, 2018 2:38 PM |
R21, I don't love how many DLers I want to die in a grease fire for their snide bitchery in response to sincerity.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | July 29, 2018 4:16 PM |
r30 What good is sincerity when you don't have your facts straight? I love her but she has one of the most fucked up nose jobs in the biz. There's no need to get butthurt over objective truth.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | July 29, 2018 4:24 PM |
You lost me at butthurt, R31.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | July 29, 2018 4:29 PM |
I've watched the first two episodes. So far, it passes the time but I'm not terribly intrigued. I also know that I'm not well-versed enough in King mythology to get many of the references. I hope the plot picks up soon, but I'll likely keep watching for Andre Holland regardless.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | July 29, 2018 4:35 PM |
Anyone else kinda bummed that Fisher is out already? I hate it when they do that. He was one of the main draws for me.
I'll still watch it as it's getting creepier and creepier. I just hope the story remains coherent throughout and it doesn't just end up being a collection of creepy encounters when all is said and done.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 3, 2018 1:34 AM |
Here are all the Stephen King Easter eggs so far. It's a long-ass list and we're only four episodes in. Having not read a single thing by him, I'd imagine I'm missing out on a lot of squealing?
That Shawshank portrait does sound cool, though.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 3, 2018 1:39 AM |
R14 I do think he's bi
Alex is gay
by Anonymous | reply 36 | August 3, 2018 1:43 AM |
More Bill pics please.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | August 3, 2018 3:06 AM |
He needs to get out of prison already because he's just brooding there right now and that's not very giffable. I was certain he and Fisher were building some sort of (homo) rapport but I guess not. Too bad.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | August 4, 2018 1:47 PM |
Is Bill going to do anything on this show but stare creepily into space?
André Holland is hotter.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | August 4, 2018 1:51 PM |
I think I like Bill better with longer hair.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 4, 2018 1:59 PM |
r40 Yeah, seems like a waste of casting currently. Holland is definitely carrying the show right now. But that flirting with the crazy empath needs to stop already. Just give him a nice, well-adjusted man instead.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 4, 2018 2:00 PM |
Is Bill wearing brown contact lenses?
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 5, 2018 8:29 PM |
I think he's wearing something to make his pupils appear larger.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | August 6, 2018 8:25 PM |
Anyone else kinda bummed that Fisher is out already? I hate it when they do that. He was one of the main draws for me.
Agree. I was hoping for an interesting subplot but they just ended it.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 6, 2018 8:48 PM |
r43 They look blue in some shots and brown elsewhere. You can also see the contacts in some of the close-ups so they might be changing his eye colour to create an unsettling effect. It might also just be the shit prison lighting.
We'll see for sure when/if he finally gets out of there.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 6, 2018 8:51 PM |
Bill Skarsgård is so hot and sexy in a creepy way like Evan Peters. <3 This series is like Haven only 10x better.
There are rumors that Bill knocked up the wife of a mutual friend of his and his brother's.
Blind Gossip - Page 5 - Liar Clown Brothers.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 6, 2018 9:40 PM |
I am sorry, but I can't find Bill Skarsgård hot. On the show he's like a Margaret Keane painting come to life.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | August 6, 2018 9:48 PM |
Omg his ass in episode 5
by Anonymous | reply 49 | August 9, 2018 1:54 AM |
R49, nekkid?!
by Anonymous | reply 50 | August 9, 2018 1:57 AM |
Yes NAKED
by Anonymous | reply 51 | August 9, 2018 2:01 AM |
I think the ending to episode 5 was the best yet. He speaks.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | August 9, 2018 2:24 AM |
It's holding my interest. I was gonna drop Hulu, but not just yet.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | August 9, 2018 2:36 AM |
Bill Skarsgard needs to present hole. He's done full frontal before hasn't he?
by Anonymous | reply 54 | August 9, 2018 5:11 AM |
This show needs to pick up the pace a little. Wtf is he supposed to be? I'm confused.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 11, 2018 6:32 AM |
Lizzy Caplan, Tim Robbins, Elsie Fisher to star in 'Misery'-themed season 2.
Joining Caplan — one of pilot season's most in-demand actresses — are Tim Robbins (Here and Now), Eighth Grade breakout Elsie Fisher, [bold][DL fave] Garrett Hedlund[/bold] (Tron, Mosaic), Barkhad Abdi (Captain Phillips, Blade Runner 2049), Yusra Warsama (Call the Midwife) and Matthew Alan (Lovecraft Country, 13 Reasons Why).
by Anonymous | reply 56 | March 20, 2019 4:52 PM |
I thought season 1 was overall disappointing. And I love SK.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | March 20, 2019 4:57 PM |
r57 Yeah, it fell flat for the most part. "The Queen" episode was marvelous, though.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | March 20, 2019 4:59 PM |
Agree R58.

‘Castle Rock’: Robin Weigert, Sarah Gadon, Alison Wright & Greg Grunberg To Guest Star On Season 2
ROBIN WEIGERT! Though I hate to say it, but Greg Grunberg immediately cheapens any TV show he appears in for me, sorry.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | June 27, 2019 8:48 PM |
Bill is my preferred flavor of Skarsgard.
