What's with the tight pants on EVERYONE in Europe?
Apparently this has been a thing for years now judging by a Google search, but I'm here now and wasn't then, so it's new for me, coming from America.
All jeans and trousers seem to have Spandex in them. And they're all form fitting. So if you have nice legs and a great ass, you look great and sexy and REALLY fuckable, but if you have a fat ass or chubby legs, you look like an overstuffed cream puff that's in danger of exploding if you bend over to pick up a dropped spice bag. They look like they are PAINTED on most people (picture reference below, this is typical on university campuses). I feel especially sorry for the fat girls who have enormous asses and legs, because you know those bitches suffer getting those things on every morning. Why do clothes makers even bother making fitted clothing in sizes above 1X?
Apparently I need to go jeans shopping immediately, with my American regular fit jeans.

Yeah, although I'm in Ireland currently, so the population is generally young and I haven't seen too many old guys walking around. The 45-year old professors have the skin tight jeans as well. Granted, for the most part the men can pull them off, since "tall and lanky" is a common sillhouette. Girls, on the other hand... they're generally bigger/fatter than the guys, on average.
(I shouldn't have called them "pants" in the subject, I forgot that means underwear here, but you get the idea).
by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 29, 2017 7:51 PM

Let me get this straight, OP. You're talking about "Ireland and the UK" and saying "Europe"?
Even before Brexit, that's pretty much two different worlds you're talking about. A lot of the population of the British Isles has very questionable taste in clothes, to put it kindly. It's like the whole area is the equivalent of the US flyover zone, except in very posh areas, where the people dress in shabby traditional clothes.
You won't find a lot of that spandex on men (or even women) in Italy, for example.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 29, 2017 7:54 PM

Men also wear capri jeans in the UK. It's the most ridiculous thing. Only fat Walmart moms in the Bible Belt wear capri jeans in the US, but I didn't even know they made those for men.

I agree with the comments about Ireland and England. Was in Ireland in June and arrived back in London today from Italy. Now Italy, the men look amazing! I didn't really see anything that was too extreme. Though common to see skinny jeans with rips on both men and women. In Liverpool, I saw a lot of black skinny jeans with horizontal cuts, again on both men and woman. Older men and women are not following any fashion trends that I could tell. Guys in business suits, especially in the larger cities, are hot. But so many blue suits with brown shoes. What I do appreciate is not seeing baggy jeans or the saggy crotch. I appreciate jeans (or trousers) that fit well and show off a man's assets.

I agree about French military police: they look amazing. The uniform is so well cut and tight you can see the outline of their foreskins.
Where I live the summer look has been shorts: daytime florals for men in soft fabrics like lingerie cut loose way up the thigh. Very sexy. For nighttime, the boys wear these black shorts with white socks and soft short sleeve black shirts like a fascist uniform that's also incredibly sexy. Some go the whole hog with the haircuts.

I hate living in the U.S., because we are still a repressed country that pushes men to be super masculine and unemotional. It's still taboo to wear a speedo in public. Most men in the U.S. won't even go into a locker room and shower naked in front of other men, because we are taught to feel ashamed about our bodies. Of course, this idea is perpetuated by most U.S. women, religious nutbags, ignorant white trash, and "toxic masculinity" black and brown people.
God forbid you overstep dress code boundaries set by the self appropriated fashion police. Ex. If you aren't black, you better not be caught wearing Timberland boots.
