That rumour about the movie bombing in front of test audiences that Fox lawyers scrubbed from the web recently was either false or Fox paid Collider for this article.

In any case, they're now doing additional photography to add more Cable and Domino scenes, which is what the test audiences reportedly wanted. I just saw the trailer and all I wanted was more Domino, so I'm not surprised by that. Perhaps they could cut some of that sex assaulter's scenes out while they're at it?
