A month and a few days for JL so pretty much all interviews, articles and merch are pontential spoilers. Unpopular opinion, I liked a lot Zimmer's Superman theme and OST for Man of Steel. John Williams's theme is much more iconic but I think it doesn't fit with Snyder's version.

I remember years ago when I liked him on Tudors, he wasn't really popular & now that he is DL's fav I give no fucks about him. The irony.

I also like Zimmer's MOS soundtrack. However he was not returning for Justice League, they had contracted JunkieXL (Tom Holkenberg) for the Justice League before they replaced him with Danny Elfman.

I guess we have to wait what Elfman's has done with JL, like I love his Batman and Spiderman work but his AoU was a bit forgettable in my opinion. And as much as I like Williams's theme when I listen to it I can't help but just thinking of Christopher Reeve Superman.

Killing Superman before the release of the first live action Justice League movie was one of the dumbest ideas ever!! I still can't believe no one in the studio stopped Snyder and I'm one of those few people who liked both MoS and BvS.

Within the past few weeks Geoff Johns gave interview where he more or less said, “Well, *I* new they were making a mistake with Snyder’s direction on the first two films, but no one listened to me.”

It’s clearly obvious from the recent reports coming out of Burbank that Justice League is wildly troublesome, Warner is abandoning the team up concept right after this. But they will try to open the film big.

While in general I like the casting of the other Justice League members, Warner really shout themselves in the foot by not casting better known actors. So you have the most famous member of the Justice League, Superman, absent from the prerelease promotion; you are missing the second most famous member of the cast, Cavill; and you have three still unproven actors playing characters the public is unfamiliar with doing heavy lifting.

I respect Snyder and his creative team for trying to do something different but the movies were too ambitious for their own good. Following the Nolan path after the success of TDK was an obvious one but I feel what Nolan did with Batman was sth unique that only worked with those movies, and still people have issues with how TDKR turned out. I don't think the main problem of the JL is the casting the only member of the league who has had mixed reactions is actually Henry as Superman, at least at the moment. The main problem imo is the studio doesn't know what to do with their characters and they are just being reactionary, and just go

In the fantasy world of 'let's say where we would like to see him", I vote for a Man from UNCLE 2, maybe a BBC drama like Tom Hardy did last year, he looks good in period drama, maybe a play like Martin Freeman is doing at the moment, and a social media where he would develop a real personality, like Chris Evans, and take a stance on real issue, not just share "prayers" with the victims... But I imagine when you are Superman you are not supposed to say anything that could upset middle America, it doesn't stop Cap...
