Moreover, even when we strongly disagree with their theology, we love to visit and tour their basilicas and cathedrals because we admire the architecture and history and attempts to glorify God through structures. I know of no Protestant Christians that would object to touring Catholic structures.

One guy complained to me about how people in his congregation looked on Catholics as godless heathens. He was working to become a minister in part to combat those attitudes about others.

Some people I met didn't even know Catholics are Christian. It was 2016. I was shocked.

Deep theological divisions still exist between Protestants and Catholics, but I have never heard a conservative Christian object to touring a Catholic basilica or cathedral.
