This isn't what's keeping him alive, and CBS/Paramount is probably holding back on whatever money from [italic]Webster[/italic] is still owed to him; he owned a piece of the show in its last three seasons, but he gets nothing from the DVDs because they didn't exist then and thus weren't in the contracts. Susan Clark did an interview with Just My Show several years ago where she said the studio still claims not to be making money off of it even though it was one of the first shows to sell for over $100 million in syndication.
