From the way he worded his letter it sounded like he labeled himself "sexually fluid" and never felt the need to identify as anything. But at some point in time he became more comfortable and felt that it was important to have more gay representation.

What I want to know is what brought on this conclusion. Was his "no labels" mantra inspired by insecurity or did his attraction go beyond male and female?
