Lana's version was better.

Lana's 1966 version starred Keir Dullea as her son.
One critic's summation: "Keir Dullea, Gone Tomorrow!"

Dobie Gillis was the only thing she ever did that was worth watching.

Hey Tuesday Wednesday, what are you doing Saturday?

R4, it was Noel Coward who said that about Keir Dullea. They had costarred in Bunny Lake is Missing.
My favorite version of Madame X is the 1936 version with Gladys George.

I love the Ross Hunter-Lana Turner version from 1966.
I would like to see the Tuesday Weld TV version, and I would love to see the original Gladys George version. Are those two available for viewing?

R5 Tuesday is excellent in Pretty Poison (1968) a terrific psychological thriller co starring Anthony Perkins that the NY Times described as 'a minor American classic' as well as the cult fav Lord Love a Duck (1966) and the TV movie Reflections of Murder (1974) with Joan Hackett an effective reworking of the French classic Diabolique (1955)
