I loved her and have met her. She's was very sweet.

Well I watched this cute movie. My observation - is she really only 16 in this? 1987 bd. 2003 movie. so 16. She looks older. Also what Jr HS takes a trip to Rome? Isn't that usually sophomore or jr year of HS? Her character is supposed to be about 13-14. She looks about 18-20.

She was really cute as a teen then she did something to her teeth and it just made her look weird. Kind of like Jennifer Grey's nose job.

I don't know anything about her now, except that she divorced her hockey player husband. However, I used to watch the Lizzie McGuire show (and I was an adult) and found it very warm and enjoyable. You know her TV mom was Millie Helper's real daughter and her TV dad was the guy from Revenge of the Nerds (the least known Carradine).

I admit A Cinderella Story is a guilty pleasure. Whenever it's on TV, I have to watch it.

Her singing always sounds processed and autotuned.

But Younger is actually a pretty great show.

Bad energy.

I LOVED Lizzie McGuire as a kid and agree with R6 about A Cinderella Story being a guilty pleasure of mine.

I've heard rumours on the internet over the last couple of years that the Duff family are notorious for being racist but no one ever offers any proof of this. Any insiders?

Hilary Duff currently has a Top Ten movie doing quite well called "47 Meters Down". Matthew Modine is also in it.

Regarding the racist stuff: I had a friend who was a PA on something she was on. It couldve been Lizzie Maguire but I cant remember but he did say her mom was the racist one throwing the n-word around, but I never heard about her... Except that one time she dressed up in ful native american costume.

I saw her in Younger and thought she was fantastic. Blew everyone else off the screen.

I still have not seen anything else she did, but on the basis of Younger I think she is great.

I was a huge fan of hers all the way up until the Dignity era. But, the Halloween costume incident from last year has made me sour.

I love Younger, but it looks like this season is full of drama between her character and Sutton Foster's character, who were previously BFFs but not anymore (because over something so dumb like lying about your age?).

I love the remix version of her song Jericho.

Sometimes i forget that she dated Joel Madden. Or that she clearly had an ed at one stage.

She was a guest star on Gossip Girl having a threesome with Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szor).

Hilary is proof that good girls really do finish last. Sure, she might be divorced and a total has-been, but she gets along with her ex, has a cute kid, works whenever she wants to, and is still rich and not sucking wealthy Arab dick for money.

R28 Yes i remember that. I can't believe Aaron talked about wanting to get back together with her. There was also drama when Chad Michael Murray was in a movie with both of them.

Kind of surprised she would admit to having a third grade education.

I grew up watching Lizzie McGuire. LOVE the theme song, and her mother actually gave a nice performance as a rather exasperated intelligent woman having to deal with suburban soccer mom life.

The movie is SO much fun. The ludicrous plot in which she dismantles lip syncing FOREVAH!!, the kitschy teen-friendly version of Italy as the setting, Alex Borstein as the cunty chaperone, Lizzie friendzoning Gordo for the entire trip (lol), the bad Italian accent as Isabella, the fashion montage set to RuPaul's 'Supermodel', and the amazing performance of 'This Is What Dreams Are Made Of'.

She was never a great actress though compared to some of her contemporaries (Raven Symoné is at least... 10x better and even Miley Cyrus on Hannah Montana was a more natural comedienne), until 'Younger' where she finally came into her own and found a role that fit her mannerisms. But a lot of her teen vehicles are still guilty pleasures. Raise Your Voice, Greta, Agent Cody Banks, Cheaper By The Dozen, Cadet Kelly, and *especially* A Cinderella Story, a generally great coming-of-age movie. I still maintain Jennifer Coolidge was SNUBBED for the Best Supporting Actress Oscar that year as Fiona the stepmother... Cate Blanchett who?

Hilary wasn't the greatest singer either but some of her pop songs hold up too. Overall a good career and it's nice to be a stable former child star who is worth tens of millions by the time they're 30 and can do whatever she wants.
