When his channel first came out, before I knew anything about him I kept having this inkling he wasn't real. Like he played to all the tropes that would make him instantly popular, a good looking extremely 'masc' guy (like that voice, it has to be an affectation after years of trying, ain't no way that's natural, but there you go)... He made references to going to college in Alabama and once did include a clip of him partying with normal kids, but mainly his channel seemed to exist outside of real life.

I can't really articulate why it seemed not real at first, but it differently had that vibe that he was all a put on by some producer. The charisma too. It definitely seemed weird that within months of starting the channel (which was growing in followers but nothing crazy) he suddenly decided to drop everything and change his life completely, for reasons that weren't really explained. Did he drop out to focus on his channel? That sure wouldn't make sense because it wasn't famous, but if it had been a show it made for good fodder for new episodes.

Not sure if the had the boyfriend at this point or not, but they went from their first meeting to engaged in a matter of months as if it was all suddenly unfolding (and in fast motion) for the benefit of the show. I am pretty sure one of the first episodes they made together they were dropping hints about marriage and their forever-plans.

Anyone I kept having this feeling it was all too perfect to be true, hat is until he dropped out and went home and did an episode with his best friend, an absolutely disgusting pig of a girl who repulsed me with her behavior. At that moment it was obvious it wasn't a show because no one would have casted her to be the sidekick friend. Why they are friends I can't even fathom. I mean I've certainly seen cases before of attractive gay guys who are besties with far less attractive women, but she was an obnoxious monster. The contrast was insane.

Anyway I hadn't heard about Zach in awhile, looks like he's entered the Instagram world and stuff. Not sure what is going on with him or how he's making money to afford all this, but has his channel kept getting more viewers or did it plateau?
