It was cancelled. The original girl left and they brought on the girl from Degrassi but it didn't last long.

You can occasionally spot some of the gays around Toronto if you really need to see them again. They are back to living ordinary lives. One of them used to work at Starbucks in the Eaton Centre.

I remember my 80 year old conservative Mormon mother asking me "what is the one girl 5 gays thing" ....I pleaded ignorance, I think she was mortified by the content...she happened upon it channel surfing.

Their off-camera relationships/friendships became very distracting on the show and took the original intent of discussing broad gay issues off the table. Like, no one cares that Jim and Bob love to hang out on Saturday nights with wine.

I did think that some of the guys were really cute. Even with those annoying Canadian accents.

I coudn't stand the Filipino boy, I forget his name now, but he was just an emotional blackmailer. He would cry at the drop of a hat and he used it to make them feel sorry for him. Especially when Andrew started dating the guy he was in love with. His behavior with that whole thing was just over the top.

I hated how they bullied the chubby guy. But I guess it was good for young chubs to see that even when you're on TV, other gays will bully and ostracize you.

Did he end up committing suicide? He seemed so miserable.

No, but the peculiar guy who the show used as a running joke did commit suicide. i always wonder how they all feel about that.

I came to really like the graphic designer/illustrator. I was initially put off by his voice but I came to quite like it. It was soothing and chill like his energy all round.

I thought it was cool that Dean's boyfriend was added and the bf spoke about going on antidepressants. Dean seemed supportive and kind.

I did like how some of the guys used to call out the Nurse for being phony. It's no surprise that he's become a youtuber. I expect the Madonna guy has as well.

I saw the Indian guy in a Canadian made porn video that was filmed at a strip club. He only had a dance scene with two other guys on stage and he didn't get naked, but he had a hard on and it was huge.

I liked Jonathan but I'm attracted to femme guys and he seemed sincere which makes for good boyfriend material.

I loved watching the show. True, some of the guys were annoying, but that was the charm of the show. It really showed (somewhat) a cross-section of young gay men. There was the usual drama and hurt feelings, unloading of emotional baggage, and the like. When I travel to different cities and meet other gay men and visit gay bars, it doesn't seem all that different from one place to the next. Other than the language and decor, so easy to fit in no matter where I travel. I vote for bringing back this show.
