I would say that she shows signs of multiple face lifts for sure - but come on, she is OLD now. I think that she looks just fine and quite lovely all things considered. The fact that she once was SO stunning is the only reason for anyone to question her current appearance. Anyone her age would look horrible without makeup and caught with horrible facial expressions. Her body is still great.

Her face looks much bigger, too. Such odd cosmetic alterations.

Jane Fonda is almos 80 and...

She's had way too much botox in her nasolabial folds along with lip filler causing that drooping, misshapen upper lip and the illusion that her nose has been shortened (I don't think it has). Lid lift(s) and botox have given her those sunken eyes and, sadly, rid her of her exotic almond eye shape. Agree with above that she's had multiple face lifts, along with WAY too much botox and fillers. The results aren't pretty and surely worse than whatever gravity and time had in store for her without all those needles.

It looks like she's had several facial implants added.

R6 here. She def has had the tip of her nose revised, giving her that shortened, bulbous tip. It looks like it was done after the photo in OP's post. Probably 80s style nose job? She should have left it alone.

I don't understand why she would get a nose job, though. It was perfect as it was. Now her nostrils look like they're perpetually flared.

Fonda looks good, Helen Mirren looks good. Dunaway has the kind of bone structure that should have aged well. Seems like the two big mistakes a lot of actresses make are are overfilling the lips and monkeying with the eyes too much. Dunaway's change along the brows and her overall lift did something that made her no longer look like Dunaway--and that's just disconcerting to see. It's a career killer--look at Meg Ryan or Renee Zellwegger. Zellwegger doesn't actually look terrible, but she looks nothing like herself.

Kim Kardashian has an average upper lip. She just has a long midface which gives her face a long look. She also has a long nose and short lower face. It's the same thing with women like Elizabeth Taylor (except for the nose length) or Audrey Hepburn, or, really, most old Hollywood actresses.

It's doesn't make sense to guess at distances between features because unless they're extremely abnormal all you're seeing is proportion. Beyond that, everyone has their own idea of what a normal face looks like based on an average of all the faces they've known. This reference point is usually distorted compared to the real average, which also has to take ethnicity, age, and sex into account. I used to think many people had narrow faces until I realized I knew so many people with wide faces that my reference point was distorted. What was narrow to me was average in reality.

There are components to having good facial surgery:

1) The doctor. (A well qualified, well researched doctor)

2) Your skin. (Some people have skin that just isn't right for plastic surgery)

3) Your expectations. If you're 50, don't expect to come out looking like you're 20. The key to good plastic surgery is just looking like you are well rested and have good genes -- not pulled or plastic. And don't do too much all at once. And don't go back year after year after year for new procedures.

4) Finally, stay away from botox and fillers.

Bonnie and Clyde came out in 1967. Meaaning she ade it in 1966. She had been in the theatre for at least 6 years prior to making that movie. Which woul mean that unless she started getting credited roles at 17, she was born before 1941.

She has always been notorious about lying about her age some suspect because her parents lied about her legitimacy. Her dad was a career NCO in the army I believe, ad her mother was 2 years older than he was, so if she was bornin in 1941, her mom would have been 19, and her father 17. But f she was actally born in 1937, her mother was 16, and her father was 14. And in Florida, where she was from, during the depreession, that was pretty common.

All that aside, let'ss just say she is 76. That age and youth are NOT the huge defining issues for her they always have been.

And Barbra Streisand is on the cover of the Globe this week for having had a ccomplete re-do of her face EXcept her nose, whn it is SO clear that she has had her nose shortened, only unlike most people she has had it done at the bridge, ratther than at the base.

Back to Faye. She has this history of doing weird weird stuff to her teeth and i am pretty sure those have got to be dentures. THAT makes your gums recede as you age. It was a problemm my mom had. If you have your teeth pulled and dentures put in (and if there is any doubt about Faye's teeth, look at her imdb page. Postively BLINDING), your jawbone is resorbed. The calcium is simpley resorbed and rcycled elsewhere. so all of those lip filler and lip plumpers started lookinng horrifically bad. Caved in face with trout pout.

So i think that is why she started doing massive face remodeling and it just all cascaded at that point. some people ought to just relax about this crap.

Now I have to say she looed pretty damned good at the oscars last year with Warren Beatty, but if you want impressive plastc surgery? Look at Jane FOnda (80) and lily Tomlin (77) in Grace and Frankie on Netflix. Amazing, truly amazing. But neither one of them went with trying to preserve sex symbol. Faye did.

Her face went strange after she had those giant horse teeth put in and then, instead of replacing them with teeth that actually fit, had the upper lip lengthening procedure (which is usually done for those who have a gummy smile) so her upper lip area dropped down over her teeth. Too much distance between your nose and top lip is not a good look.

How do you lengthen lips? I've never heard of that procedure. Wouldn't that create a bigger mouth opening?

Strangely I was reading about the difference between the upper lip and the nose almost a year ago. There is supposedly an ideal distance between them and there is, of course, surgery to correct if you have too much distance. Seems like the only thing you can't correct is your eyes being too close or too far apart.

He said the hair loss is more apparent with women who've had face lifts because the facelifts push back the hair line. Trudie's facial scarring as a toddler, the scars look quite horrific. She's has some amazing work. When she first started dating Sting, Trudie was adorable, there was no sign of facial surgery. Her facelifts were more recent, probably over the past 15-20 years.

Many women with face lifts WILL get premature receding hairlines, because the skin is tightly pulled back. that was my point. Not every woman has thinning hair or a receding hairline due to age. My mom is in her 80s, she still has a full head of coarse thick hair and her hairline is not receding.

R167 - Maggie Smith looks old but nobody cares because she's incredibly talented and has zero fucks to give. Most of the actresses who have too much surgery were never that talented to begin with and known more for their looks than their acting ability. Dunaway is actually very talented which makes the whole plastic surgery saga such a shame. She would have looked so much better if, like Susan Sarandon, she'd just had tweaks here and there (double chin sucked out for example) and otherwise allowed herself to age naturally. When an actress has had so much obvious plastic surgery, she pretty much eliminates her ability to do period movies or play characters that couldn't afford such surgeries (i.e. most roles). So basically all they can play really are high society broads or do horror films like Bye Bye Man.
