my father was a fashion photographer in the 50's-80's in NY & Paris so I've seen beauty come and go. I find that true beauty is really rare and am not sure if it is something that shines from within plus the fact of the beauty I see in one's face or if it just the physical beauty.

Marion Cotillard has to have that mole in the middle of her forehead removed before she can be considered beautiful. And while Cotillard was really attractive in "Two days, one night", you would hardly call her beautiful in the film (she wore no make-up).

In terms of French actresses, Juliette Binoche has far more beautiful features than either Cotillard or Seydoux (especially Seydoux with her pig nose).

There have been some very interesting nominations on this thread. Selena Gomez??? Had she not been some Disney actor turned sub-par singer, I doubt that anyone would give her a second look. Kristen Stewart is also an interesting pick. While her bone structure is flawless, her sunken, raccoon eyes are a bit disconcerting IMO. I think that TODAY'S Hollywood machine makes unique looking, albeit gorgeous girls into having plastic surgery to look like whatever the A-list female star is at the moment looks like. so, therefore, there isn't anyone that stands out, they all look the same, white, black, Asian et al, have been remade for box office success.
