Faye Dunaway looks pretty good these days!

What do you think?

by Anonymousreply 70April 23, 2018 2:47 PM

Wow, she looks better than a couple of years ago. Fillers? Makeup? New teeth?

by Anonymousreply 1April 14, 2017 7:02 AM

She looks like Dinah Shore's little sister

by Anonymousreply 2April 14, 2017 7:05 AM

I just saw her in The Case for Christ (she only had one scene) but she looked good.

by Anonymousreply 3April 14, 2017 7:56 AM

She looks better than that Bruce Jenner lookalike playing Joan Crawford on Feud.

by Anonymousreply 4April 14, 2017 8:21 AM

She got the most publicity that she's had in decades a few weeks back. Puts the glow right back into those horse teeth of hers.

by Anonymousreply 5April 14, 2017 8:21 AM

Ugh, she's become another Christaholic? Why do these washed up stars always turn to Jesus. Heroin is much more fun.

by Anonymousreply 6April 14, 2017 8:24 AM

r6 just because she's in a movie about Christianity doesn't make her one.

by Anonymousreply 7April 14, 2017 8:48 AM

Is she playing Aimee Semple McPherson in the movie?

by Anonymousreply 8April 14, 2017 9:38 AM

She looks very pretty and her teeth look nice too. It's good to see her looking happy and healthy.

by Anonymousreply 9April 14, 2017 9:41 AM

Faye should be the Oscar host next year. With special appearance by Diana Scarwid.

by Anonymousreply 10April 14, 2017 9:46 AM

She looked really bad several years ago, she seems to have gotten a better cosmetic surgeon. These girls have to go through so much just so they don't end up looking like Granny from The Beverly Hillbillies.

by Anonymousreply 11April 14, 2017 11:22 AM

[quote]just because she's in a movie about Christianity doesn't make her one.

It petty much does; these films are only made with 'stars' who have turned fundie: Mria Sorvino, Kevin Sorbo, Erika Christensen (still a $cientologist).

by Anonymousreply 12April 14, 2017 11:42 PM

Faye must be desperate to still make movies. Within the last six months she has been in a low-grade horror movie (small role) and now in a evangelical religious movie (small role). She is beginning to mirror Joan Crawford - accepting crappy movie roles in the last stage of her career. Where is her self-respect?

by Anonymousreply 13April 15, 2017 12:12 AM

Is she off to Cannes to beg for roles and money to fund projects?

by Anonymousreply 14April 15, 2017 12:17 AM

I hope she has a good psychiatrist.

by Anonymousreply 15April 18, 2017 4:40 PM

While she does look better than before, she does not look good. Her teeth are still too large and too white. She should get a smaller, more discreet set of dentures. Also her face is pulled so tight that her crows feet are pointing UP. That is not a natural look.

by Anonymousreply 16April 18, 2017 5:06 PM

She still has that amazing body that she always did maintain; in that respect, she reminds me a lot of Jane Fonda. That said, her facial work just doesn't do justice to the stunning woman that she was in her youth. She really was arguably one of the most gorgeous women on earth back in the 1970's. I agree with above posters though - she seems to look better now than she did 10 years ago. Good for her.

by Anonymousreply 17April 18, 2017 6:30 PM

Unclench your sphincter, R13. Perhaps she just needs the money? There are worse things a person can do than make crappy movies when they're past their prime. Self respect doesn't pay the bills.

by Anonymousreply 18April 25, 2017 5:28 AM

Faye Dunaway feels 'very guilty' about Oscars mishap. She thought Beatty was joking.

I hope the Faye-obsessed queen has a good psychiatrist.

OP, aka the obsessed Faye troll, still think Faye should have been in 'Feud."

Get over it, Mary. She's a has-been.

by Anonymousreply 20April 25, 2017 5:31 AM

I'm happy for Faye. She gets ragged on a lot but it's good to see her happy and healthy. She really is a great actress.

by Anonymousreply 21April 25, 2017 5:33 AM

She really was a great actress.

by Anonymousreply 22April 25, 2017 5:34 AM

Joan Crawford didn't start taking small roles in her twilight years.

by Anonymousreply 23April 25, 2017 5:39 AM

She could do with some bangs.

by Anonymousreply 24April 25, 2017 5:40 AM

She was the most gorgeous actress of the 1970's (ok, Jane Fonda is a tie). She was nominated for many Oscars and won one. Give her some slack.

by Anonymousreply 25April 25, 2017 5:48 AM

Jane was more attractive in the 1960s. As was Faye.

by Anonymousreply 26April 25, 2017 5:53 AM

Faye was still gorgeous in Chinatown. (1974)

by Anonymousreply 27April 25, 2017 5:57 AM

1974 was a long, LONG time ago.

by Anonymousreply 28April 25, 2017 6:17 AM

I still thought she looked regal in The Handmaid's Tale, The Temp and Gia in the '90s.

by Anonymousreply 29April 25, 2017 6:29 AM

If we learned anything from FEUD it should be that we should cherish our older actresses, not scorn them and cast them away like Hollywood does. I wish only the best for Faye, Jessica, Susan, Isabelle, Shirley and ALL of our elder actresses. Let's rejoice in them.

Except for that cunt MERYL! DIE....DIE....YOU SHE-DEVIL!!!!

by Anonymousreply 30April 25, 2017 7:11 AM

Glennie's having her late night six pack again, I see...

by Anonymousreply 31April 25, 2017 7:24 AM

Big improvement. Instead of ten miles of bad road, Faye now looks like five miles of bad road.

by Anonymousreply 32April 25, 2017 9:10 AM

I hope she becomes more visible, she's a living legend and a brilliant actress.

by Anonymousreply 35April 30, 2017 6:25 PM

[quote]She was nominated for many Oscars and won one. Give her some slack.

Three Oscar nominations is "many"?

by Anonymousreply 36April 30, 2017 7:08 PM

Please, Jane has always been lousy except for a couple movies where she played sappy bitches. Faye is head and shoulders above that broad in the performance department.

by Anonymousreply 37April 30, 2017 7:11 PM

I don't understand the worship for this woman. She may be talented and may have starred in great modern classics, but her behavior on set and off have been abominable. The woman thinks she deserves to be treated like a queen, but she deserves to be knocked down a peg or two.

by Anonymousreply 38April 30, 2017 7:23 PM

Oh please. She was a tiresome perfectionist. I don't see that held over the heads of male stars decades later. I kind of respect that, someone who is so determined to get her craft right. If she were mediocre, I would find her annoying. But all great talents tend to have some "eccentricities".. She minds her business, and has innate star quality, so people tolerate her "difficultness" -- I'm sure Polanski would re-hire her again (despite all their clashes) given her performance in Chinatown over Jane Fonda any day.

by Anonymousreply 39April 30, 2017 7:29 PM

She looks like a Pilgram, in drag, in that ugly Oscar dress.

by Anonymousreply 40April 30, 2017 7:35 PM

[quote]I'm sure Polanski would re-hire her again (despite all their clashes) given her performance in Chinatown over Jane Fonda any day.

And yet he hasn't. Polanski has directed a dozen films since Chinatown, none of them with Dunaway. Warren Beatty and Jack Nicholson, two former co-stars who had the power and influence in the 70s and 80s to put Faye in another picture with them never bothered to. Once you've worked with Dunaway, you never want to ever again.

by Anonymousreply 41April 30, 2017 7:51 PM

The new hairdo takes about 20 years off of her. She doesn't look a day over 92 now.

by Anonymousreply 42April 30, 2017 8:05 PM

R41, I meant if he'd re-shoot Chinatown again, he'd choose Faye over Jane. It's because Warren and Jack are pigs who want to co-star with women young enough to be their daughters/granddaughters.

by Anonymousreply 43April 30, 2017 8:11 PM

A few year ago, Faye was in a film shot in Wales. She played a detective (who, for some reason had a metal hand) investigating a Welsh ghost that came back to kill some other Welsh people.

LMAO.

by Anonymousreply 50May 5, 2017 3:23 AM

She looks good.

by Anonymousreply 51May 5, 2017 3:31 AM

It's a shame she can't seem to get a good part, even after all the Oscars publicity. Faye needs a better agent.

by Anonymousreply 52May 5, 2017 3:34 AM

Like one of those corpses they dig up six months after burial to do another autopsy on.

by Anonymousreply 53May 5, 2017 3:37 AM

She is serving Dr. Zira realness!

by Anonymousreply 54May 5, 2017 4:08 AM

I was also getting Planet of the Apes vibes.

But more like Dr. Zaius' wife or sister.

She has such a fantastic bitchy appeal. I can't imagine producers not snatching her up immediately - most likely for TV roles. In this day of old crows like Betty White being hot commodities on TV - I can't imagine 70's glamour/Oscar royalty like Faye not carrying clout. Everyone wants to see her so why not give her a run.

by Anonymousreply 59May 5, 2017 5:38 AM

Here's a great interview from last year. She's very articulate and comes off really smart and not at all 'dottie' - good for her.

R7 - She converted to Roman Catholicism in 1996.

R13 - Like most people, she has bills to pay. She didn't work for several years due to ill health. Now she's better, she's working again. If you were an actual fan, you'd be happy for her and less of a cunt.

by Anonymousreply 62May 12, 2017 9:28 PM

R59 - I've long wished she'd compete on Dancing with the Stars. They always have an "old person" slot. And can you imagine her being given a critique on live TV?

Faye was slaying the catwalk last night with Miss Naomi!

by Anonymousreply 67May 24, 2017 9:06 PM

Well, she does not look like she did years ago, not because she aged. That's all I can say. She looks like Mary Tyler Moore. Jane Fonda looks great and she looks like Jane Fonda.

by Anonymousreply 68May 24, 2017 9:22 PM

La-La Land!

by Anonymousreply 69May 24, 2017 9:47 PM

She's an inspiration to all women. I don't want to let her down.
