Okay-looking but with zero sex appeal and a forgettable actor.

'The Riot Club' was actually a very good, disturbing film about the British class system and the rot of their elites and he was supposed to be the pivotal character in the plot. Yet he made little impact in the film and many of the others acted circles around him, especially Sam Claflin.

He is completely riding on the coattails of his father and very respected British-Irish acting family.

And, yeah, I have it on good authority from people who've worked with him that Jeremy Irons is a pretentious, garrulous fart of a man.

Gourmands the world over are collectively sighing with relief that R1 is not a truffle pig...

Irons is OK, nothing overly special. But Booth is sex on a stick.

R9, do yourself a favour and watch 'The Riot Club' and you will see just how excellent Sam Claflin is in it. He portrays an entitled upper-class wanker better than any of the others and entirely as if to the manor born - not shabby, considering that in reality he grew up solidly middle class.

Max Irons, on the other hand, was entirely bland in his performance - and it was a good role for the taking.

He's a gorgeous looking lad. His father Jeremy is a pretentious cunt who should be flung from the ramparts of his pink castle, or throttled with his cravatte. As someone quipped " a posh British accent isn't proof of intelligence".

He is not going to age well. For thems that care, he has an unusually long foreskin. (An observation of a former schoolmate of Irons.)

Booth is an awful actor and has zero depth. At first I was like "wow" and then I saw how boring he is. Max Irons is very good looking but I have not seen enough to say how hot he is. He is better looking than his father was in his prime but I always thought Jeremy Irons very sexy and love his voice.

Max was in The Woman in Gold with Helen Miriam, which I recommend. He was beautiful. I had the impression that he was edited out as much as possible, since he had a minor role and his beauty would otherwise have overwhelmed his scenes.

Jeremy was hot in his prime. Max is cute but I agree with the poster above who stated he looks more like his mom, Sinead Cusack.

Max is genetically programmed to turn into Cyril Cusack. And that's not a good thing.

Watching him on Audience Network's CONDOR. His body lacks definition and it's oddly appealing.

Yep, pretty hot, he was in a series about the War of the Roses.

He used to come into to a restaurant that I ran, he is gorgeous IRL and super nice. Also saw booth at the theatre, he is potentially prettier IRL (it's quite disconcerting how good looking he is), and I disagree with the person who said he can't act, he shows genuine range in his various roles, but I fear that his looks will stop him from being taken seriously.
