Why did Josh and Sam leave GMA? I never watch those shows, but I would tune in sometimes to that group of people. They worked well together, at least as far as I could tell.

NBC/Comcast lured both Sam and Josh away from GMA (Sam went to the Weather Channel and Josh went to NBC Sports), then gave them little to do. Josh soon left NBC for CBS. Now, they're both jobless. I think NBC had no real interest in either of them and it was all a ploy to boost the "Today" show by trying to kill "GMA's" momentum.

Well, that ploy sure worked!

R6 that is NOT an old photo. In fact it was just taken about 10 days ago with, get ready for it, OUR DISNEY PRINCES, Gio and whatever the husband's name is!

It was on Gio's timeline and Sam and his bf look like regulars from Treasure Island Port at this point. Wear an age-appropriate bathing suit and cut down on the hair dye and teeth whitener and maybe some Midwestern affiliate will hire you!

Yes, I know he made a fortune on ABC, but that bf and lifestyle don't come cheap .

I liked the interaction between Josh, Sam and the rest of the GMA crew back then. I think they put too much money on Robin as a morning superstar on her own.

I think George S. has long been a weak link on GMA. He belongs on a Sunday morning news show or a political talk show in the evening.

Sam is back in Florida with hubby. Doin' nothin'.

I stopped watching GMA when they added Michael Strahan as an equal to George and Robin. Not that GMA was ever great but Strahan is a light weight and we need less infotainment not more.

He is filling in for Rob M. on GMA Weekend while Rob M. fills in for Ginger on her maternity leave. I don't dislike him, but he tries a little too hard. He laughs loudly at anything that is even slightly amusing.
