Oh I'm with you. He was so beautiful in Moonlight. He was so moving during the last act of the film. That he's talented is icing on the cake.

I was also taken by Jharrel Jerome, who claims he's straight, but I'm not buying it. He's got an undercurrent of fabulousness in his pictures and Instagram stories that belies heterosexuality. Perhaps Moonlight awoke something within him.

I think he's indicative of the new, young black liberated male....yes we have homophobes in the black community, but we also have young men like him … a great actor...when you see him in interviews he is amazingly different than the character he played in Moonlight ...that being said, It's called acting, right? Hope has a great future ahead of him...gregarious self-defacing and seems to love a good laugh.

A side bar, I talked with so many other black men who hated Moonlight...can't figure it out...I'm officially a fan of the entire cast. There are some wonderful photos of Rhodes with the young Chiron. there is a obvious connection a big brother type of affection and very close...he also hugs the little Chiron like he's his son during interviews. Hate to gush...I'm just really hoping the best for him. Any comments about Moonlight? Barry Jenkins also has a great future...keeping an eye on his work as well.
