The Viper repo scene was hilarious.

Franco made a rather convincing bottom. Surprise surprise.

That guy playing Harlow Cuidado looked too old.

Loved it. Way better than I expected. Great performances by everyone. Beautiful boys and it "went there"... not for everyone, though.

Terrible movie. And why no penis?

Bumping as a callout for links to the Christian Slater lovescene. I can't find clips anywhere online (And I have LOOKED, trust me). There aren't even working streams for the full flick anymore...
I don't wanna sit through this entire movie (I'm not into Franco) and I sure as hell do not want to buy it just so I can see a minute of it, but I still kinda need to see Slates make out with a man. No dice so far. I've even braved Tumblr for GIFs or something and nada...Christian's too vintage for that demo, I guess.
Video, pictures, whatever you got, bitches. Much appreciated.

With some googling I was able to find this in seconds r5....
It looks like the Slater sex scene is the last one listed. Btw, the movie is freely available on Netflix.

You're a real Mensch R6, that's exactly what I wanted. Were this Reddit, I'd give you gold.
From that scene alone it looks like a chilly & unsettling movie, not my thing (although Christian is), so I doubt I'll bother Netflixing it. I love Alicia Silverstone too but I hear her part was like 5 minutes, total.

I am watching it now. It's deliciously sleazy and camp. Nice performances and great to see biggish stars doing it.

Keegan Allen was really good and really attractive. What great character to play. A white trash mirror of Patrick Bateman.

Another James Franco movie that went straight to video.

Borifies a major drama.
Canonizes Slater's character, who was actually a ruthless sleazeball with lots of crimes and wrongdoings of his own.

The whole movie is or was on gayforit.com as recently as last week. Sorry no link because my laptop crapped out and I deleted my porn links to get it fixed.

It was hard for me to figure out if the sex scene he had with the Brent character was consensual or not. I felt it wasn't, but it was shot with an ambiguous feel (and using up the only nuance the movie had).

Brent had no choice - he had to have sex with Stephen (Slater). I thought Stephen was pretty damed sleazy and desperate R11.
Brent pity fucks Stephen can kind of "lets" Stephen rape him because Brent is trying to figure out his next step and escape plan. When the first meet, Bent is kind to Stephen but finally just hates him for the sleaze ball he is and for ripping him off. It's not that complicated.
None of the characterisations are that subtle, but Brent's is pretty interesting and played lightly enough. I think its pretty generous to "Brent" because Sean Paul Lockhart nowadays doesn't seem as clever as the boy in this movie seems clever and nimble.

Awful. Disappointing, although Slater was a good choice for Stephen and it did help explain the bizarre obsession the killers had with Brent Corrigan.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 17, 2017 10:47 PM |
The "bizarre obsession" was meth-fueled, when any act of hubris seems like a good idea.

There should have been penis, Garrett.

R14 knowing the full backstory, it was an uncomfortable watch because of how sympathetic Slater was.
I liked Stephen and his candor and thought him handsome, even justified in his doings in the first half. He was pitiable by the second half but even then, still likeable enough to want a good outcome for him. Unsettling when you consider the manipulative lunatics Slater often plays, and when you know who the Stephen character was really based on...

R11 to give a point to Franco the title is clever if you think about the movie from that perspective, as a 'King Cobra' isn't a true Cobra at all, just a puffed-up pretender who seems more powerful than every other snake but In fact is not.

The book that it's based on is overly sympathetic to Bryan Kocis as well.
I kind of liked the movie as trashy fun, but I thought ending it with Stephen's murder was a mistake. The insane way in which Harlow and Joe tried to evade the police is a movie in and of itself.
Also, Keegan Allen is ugly.

Finally saw this. I thought Garrett Hedlund was beautiful and that Keegan Alen was really sexy. All four of the leads looked like the men in real life.
Franco gave a very hammy and insincere performance. Slater is excellent.
Its immediately clear after seeing it why it went straight to video.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 29, 2018 2:06 AM |
It was just a cheap little movie. It was ok.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 29, 2018 2:09 AM |
Keegan Allen is charming in this movie, for playing an ultraviolent killer. He has this sweet side where he very much wants to be liked, all the while he realizes people just see him as a lust object.
Alicia Silverstone has a really good scene with Garrett Hedlund when she finds out he's been lying to her and is a porn performer. She's a better actress than I thought.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | June 29, 2018 5:52 AM |
Garrett Hedlund wasn't in KING COBRA!
It was Disney queen Garrett CLAYTON!
