Has anyone heard about this guy? It's an interesting story. He was an actor who was murdered in the 40s - the murder is still unsolved. There are claims that he was gay and having an affair with Howard Hughes!
Wow. I never heard of him, but his life story is better than that of any movie he made .

His wife (beard) was the brilliant Viennese singer Greta Keller. She sings on the soundtrack to Cabaret, but her best recordings are from the 30s.
