He is, indeed, an awesome guy; however, I missed any reference to his being gay.

In defending R4 a bit... a lot about Scooby was just revealed about maybe... 2-3 years ago. Scooby was the first exercise guru on YouTube and he has a very compelling following. This brought about A LOT of jealousy and many competitors have tried to take him down. Then someone noticed that he never talked about his personal life. So, that's what started people on a mission trying to find out about that. He was "doxed" and then threatened to be outed. He was receiving calls at his home, job, etc. It became so overwhelming that he was going to move and discontinue his YouTube channel. But I guess his fans changed his mind. There were SO MANY clips from others begging him not to leave. Anyway... in one of his clips, (while he was on a cruise), everyone noticed this shadow figure and wanted to know who the very muscular shadow figure was that was filming his workout. He slowly admitted that it was his husband. THE SUPPORT FOR HIM WAS OVERWHELMINGLY MASSIVE!!! Remember, that most of his audience are straight people and older. No one cared and some people were even angry that he never shared this before. According to Scooby, he never denied that he was gay but after that incident he became more encouraged to start talking about and filming his husband.

Sorry for the long whatever. But, it was a great story and I'm a big Scooby fan!

I first found Scooby three years ago or so when I was searching for new exercise routines on YouTube. I liked his pleasant can-do attitude and his position in that anybody can exercise anywhere with no equipment. In other words: No excuses!

Some gays are vicious cunts. Some are not. DL does seem to skew towards the stereotypical former category; there are, however, really nice guys looking for Mister Right. Scooby is an excellent role model, IMHO.

Scooby and husband

Looking at his age progression reminds me how glad I am about not getting too much sun exposure since I was 15. His body still looks great but his face is fried.

I may not look 25 anymore but I sure as hell don't look 10 years OLDER than my current age. Tanning is ruinous.

I knew this guy once. Back in 2000, I did the AIDS bike ride from San Francisco to LA, and he was among the group of guys I rode with. I remember him loving to take his shirt off whenever he had the opportunity (I didn't mind), and although he seemed to be somewhat of an exhibitionist, he was personally very shy. He was a nice guy, though, and didn't have any "look at me, I'm so beautiful" attitude.

Whenever we'd have dinner after the day's ride, we'd say, "Time for some Scooby snacks!"

I really like his information. He gives you all that you need, in my opinion. The work is just getting off of your duff and doing it! I'm also glad that he is now more comfortable with himself and coming out of his shell more. It seems now that he is really getting the recognition that he deserves. He's on tour to meet fans more,etc. Maybe we'll finally see him on TV as a guest on some show. I'm surprised no one has ever had him on.
