Yes, I actually think most people try not be be assholes even if they are not interested in fucking trans peolole. When they reveal, many are less likely to say "I know. It is completely obvious" than, "oh, really? That's interesting".

I don't know too many women who would be interested in a guy who previously dated a transwoman. Kind of a red flag. So who cares if these men self-label as gay or not?

It must be hard when your entire focus is on 'passing' ie convincing the world that you are something you're not.
