Tina Yothers is the female Danny Pintauro. Both were totally pointless to their shows and to life in general.

Tina fulfilled the role of the first full on Gen Xer who was horrified by her Boomer parents. Michael J. Fix was hired to play that role, but it was an act. With Tina it was the real thing. You could see it in her eyes even as a little kid. She was the audience.

They just had a Family Ties reunion a year ago

They had a reunion in 2008 as well

Plus Justine was really really pissed at TPTB the last three years on the show. At the end of season of season 4 she wanted to go to Harvard and got accepted. She had thought she could do both, possibly do six episodes in the summer, and odd episodes in between her schooling. She basically wanted to be a recurring character. TPTB said NO and held her to her contract and threatened legal action if she walked.

This is in contrast to Ari Meyers (Kate & Allie) who was allowed out of her contract to go to school. And even Sara Gilbert when she wanted to go to school, Roseanne arranged it that Sara pre-tape all of her scenes, and even had her film additional material in NYC.

II is nice to here a backstage story where Roseanne doesn't act like a huge cunt, R11.
