I am hoping to find bio or other information.

Two films, he did both gay and straight sex and then was gone. Good actor and hot as fuck.

Can any of you shed light on him?

Gerald Grant was also in the Radley Metzger film, "Score," which also dealt with wife swapping and bisexuality. His made his last film in 1980 and died from AIDS complications in 1993.

There's not a lot of information available online about him. He made only 4 films in his lifetime, his last film being a "legitimate" movie, a horror film called "Eaten Alive." He was just 52 when he died in New York City,

The flick itself was also re-released as a DVD in 2008 as a "VCA Gold Classic."

R15 The relatively new distribution company Vinegar Syndrome also released a remastered DVD of Both Ways. Much better quality that VCA's release There are some screenshots in the link below.

Oh and the Vinegar Syndrome DVD has an Commentary track with Director Jerry Douglas. I haven't watched the VS version, so I don't know how much he remembers about the making of the movie or if he talks about the stars like Grant.

Grant did the Tubstrip play back in 1974 on Broadway. Cal Culver (better known as Casey Donovan) was in the same production. Various other male porn stars appeared in other productions of Tubstrip, including Dean Tait, Jim Cassid, and Jamie Gillis.

Speaking of Jim (aka Rick) Cassidy ... I was watching an old Sonny and Cher variety show on getTV the other day, and who should appear on my screen but Rick Cassidy! And he even had some lines!

I'm bumping this old thread because some of it concerns Dean Tait, who was very much a part of the NYC gay scene in his stage and film work, print ads, and the like. I think he was a personal trainer as well.

Did anyone have an encounter with him? I recall his being the dreamboy in many a gay man's fantasies.
