She's still alive. The people at The Rialto Report confirmed it on their twitter some time ago. I heard they got in contact with her and she has no interest in talking about her past at this time. They have an old audio interview from the late 80s up on their site where interestingly she said she wanted to dispel rumors that she was dead, had 4 kids, ect.

She had great camera presence and some acting chops, she was a stand out from that era. Many of the female stars back then seemed to have more to them compared to most of the stars today. Much more real.

Similarly, another actress from the same era, Lesllie Bovee, is also active on Facebook, though not under that name. The Rialto Report had contacted her some years back about doing an interview, but said she had become very religious and so declined the opportunity to talk about her past.

Lately on Facebook, though, Lesllie has been reconnecting with her former co-stars. She's still very religious, but she's also freely sharing stories with her fellow actors and actresses. In one exchange, she said she wasn't ashamed of her past. So maybe she's inching forward a little and will eventually consent to an interview. Maybe the same will happen with Lisa.

R8 I suspect she had self esteem problems because she was overweight somewhat as a teen and not the most conventionally beautiful. She once said in an interview that her mother told her she better learn some type of trade because she wasn't going to land a man on her looks alone. While that could be considered a positive comment by some, to someone unsecure, they could hurt quite a bit. I'm sure being called sexy and beautiful in being a popular porn star might have been why she stuck around in it for quite some time.

R9 It's definitely Lisa. She's older and heavier but not totally unrecognizable. She still wears that same necklace she wore in a lot of her movies and photo shoots. I discovered her real identity (and facebook page within minutes after that) a few years ago after she mistakenly connected her maiden name and current married name on pretty popular website (I think she's since corrected this). I wasn't the only person who caught it and found her. I also sent the link to her facebook profile The Rialto Report (since they won't disclose private info) and they confirmed it was her and she wasn't interested in talking.

I always thought it odd that she contracted and passed from HIV. She did perform anal scenes but very few. I didn't believe that rumor until I found her and saw that she actually was one because I heard several performers who worked with her talk about how "out there" she was and seemed to be very conflicted about what she was doing, but maybe the therapy she had really helped her and inspired her to help others.
