I always thought he was sexy.
Like Stacy Keach, an enduring yet TERRIBLE actor!

Started a thread about him here a couple of years ago. Definitely think he was hot, especially in SILVERADO.

Watch The Belly of an Architect R1, then get back to us.

R1's entitled to his/her opinion, but Dennehy's an excellent actor. His stage work, esp when performing O'Neill is extraordinary and yes, he was bear-personified in "Silverado".

I would pay good money to see the Brians go at it. Dennehy and Blessed.

Throw in Brians Bloom, Keith, and Sims, and you're on.

I saw him in NYC a few summers ago and took his pic. He gave me a mischievous smile and nod. Seemed like he's be fun to hang with.

Met him at a friends house about 20 years ago. What a sweet guy. Great storyteller, kind funny, just really down to earth. He's also really smart, scholarly, read a lot of history. Knowledgeable. Loves football, can talk about football plays and passes that happened ages ago. Very political, Liberal. He was a very heavy smoker. He has that barrel chest that people who develop COPD have. He doesn't work much anymore, but I grew very fond of him.

I've seen him onstage and I didn't care for his one-note bluster-style performances. I just think he's wildly overpraised. Not trying to change anyone's mind.

I always thought he was sexy, too. However, he bears a resemblance to a very large George Costanza at times.

He’s dead.

He was a very fine actor. I ran into him once while we were both browsing in a Borders Bookstore on North Michigan Avenue in Chicago and I told him how much I admired his work. He was very gracious in person.
