Any experiences with LinkedIn Premium?

I'm thinking of getting it...ten years of experience in administrative work (from reception to office manager). I'm not much for networking and tend to be an introvert. I'm currently employed, but looking for something better.

Was it worth it to you?

Why would it be worth it?

From reception to office manager.

You must be poor.

Not worth it, in my opinion.

But they do give you a month free, so you have time to try it out.

The only thing that was really different, in my view, was the ability to send a message to users. I think Premium users get 10 messages. So if you're launching into a focused job hunt and have a few targeted companies, I'd sign up for the free month (cancel before it renews) and send those messages.

No one is going to give you a job because you send them a message.

R2:. Not OP, but I made a little over 100k last year as a support staff person. Not a fortune but it"ll do.

They just radically upped the price- there was a level at around $20/month but that's gone and the cheapest level seems to be at $40. I have not looked for a job in a while, so it's not worth it to me to upgrade, but I suppose if you are on the hunt, it's well worth it.

Try it for a month OP-- it looks like you can cancel at any time.

You supported your mother and she died and left you 100K. So what about this year?

You must not have a job or understand how LinkedIn works, dearie.

It's called networking.

Nah. Nobody uses it to actually find work. Attention whores just seem to use it to brag.
